What Awaits the Anabaptists

in the Last DAYS?

By the grace of God, we had an opportunity to meet this wonderful people of God, the Anabaptists, way back from 1974 when we lived in the province of Ontario and we visited many different families of Amish people who are from Anabaptist background.

We visited some of their congregations and we were at their services and listened to their preaching and read their history and all those things.  And also, right through the years, we have come across many other groupings of Anabaptist type people who call themselves Mennonite.  We met many different Mennonites around Vancouver, which is in British Columbia.  There are many different groupings in that area.

We met different groups like conservative Mennonites, and 'middle of the road' Mennonites and very liberal Mennonites right through all these years.  We also have been privileged to meet with many Beachy Amish people who also have their roots with Anabaptists of early history.

We had an opportunity to have many conversations with them.  Reading their literature and comparing it with our own background, and I have come to conclusion that our Ukrainian people and Slavic people from Ukraine and Russia basically have everything in common as to the way of life and way of teaching that the first Anabaptist people had at the time of their revival and that is in 15th century and on.

So I have a heart for the dear Anabaptist people and this is the reason why I would like to share as much Word of God as possible in connection with the last days and specifically this last message, "What Awaits the Anabaptists in the Last Days?".

This will concern them specifically, personally, many of them.  So that they will be able to see from the Scriptures in what days we are living, what is coming, and what a people of God as such as Anabaptists or for that matter any other groups, what they have to do in these last days in order to fulfill the commands of Christ which He has spoken.

There are quite a few commandments that Christ has spoken which are to be fulfilled for the last days.  So, before we go into details, what awaits the Anabaptist in this last days, I would like to lay out kind of a groundwork from the Scripture, to go back to the roots of the Christian faith and how it all started and then go slowly, very briefly through historical points, and see how Lord and His divine plan has purposed to bring a people unto His name for His glory and to make those people into one big living organism, which is His church.

So we are going to just briefly read, starting from Genesis, chapter 17, verses 1-5.  In that portion, if you read it carefully, you would find that God has spoken to Abraham and He gave him some promises including one which I would like to mention.

He said to Abraham that He will make him a father of many nations.  Abraham was a man of God, who spoke with God and God spoke with him.  Bible calls him prophet.  In my Bible, in Russian Bible, it says that Abraham is prophet and he will pray for one particular king and only him God will hear.

So then we go to many other prophets like Isaiah, Jeremiah, and all other minor prophets.  We would see that there are many Scriptures pertaining to this particular first prophecy which was given towards the Gentile nations.  And that is that God is going to call out from Gentile nations a people unto Himself.  Abraham was to be a father of many nations.

Now, if we read Isaiah chapter 43, verses 19-21, you would read there that God is promising to do something very new.  He said that He will pour out a river in wilderness in order to give a drink to His elect people.  And there He says about Gentiles, that He's going to choose Himself a Gentile for Himself as a people, as elect people.  In my Bible it says 'elect' people, but in the English Bible it says 'chosen' people, which might be the same thing.

Anyhow, and then He kind of rebukes Israel in the very following words, "You, Israel, did not work for Me.  You, Jacob, did not seek for Me.  But this people which I'm going to call, they are going to glorify My name."

So then, if you read Isaiah chapter 55, verses 1-5, He again speaks about this, "Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.  Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread?  and your labour for that which satisfieth not?  hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.  Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.  Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.  Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee."

Here we see that again He promises to give rivers of living water to Gentile nations and that He will call a nation which He never knew before.  And that God is going to bring out a nation which never knew the Lord, and they'll run towards the Lord, Holy God, and they'll be glorifying Him.

So, this is just a few portions of Scripture I wanted to share of what God prophesied through His chosen vessels for the future days, and that's for Gentile days when He's going to bring out from Gentiles a nation, a people according to Himself, a 'chosen' in English, or 'elect' in my Russian Bible.  Elect people for Himself.  And He's going to give them this living water to drink and to satisfy them.

When we come to many minor prophets you would see that many prophesies concerning Gentiles were also spoken.  We have to quickly pass on, and we do not want to read many of them because that'll take a long time, but I just wanted to briefly lay out the groundwork for the mighty plan of God, way back from beginning starting with Abraham, and so on and on.

So then we see how this prophecy of God developed through the ages and how finally it came to the New Testament era; the gospel dispensation.  We see that the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies through many prophets have come to fruition, or started to happen.  As we read after Christ's ascension, apostles were empowered with the Holy Ghost to go and preach the Gospel, first to Israelites, and when they were rejecting them, then they were being sent by God into many different nations, especially the apostle Paul.

In Acts chapter 10, verses 11 to 18, we see that was work of God for Gentile nations to bring a fulfillment of His promise to Abraham that He will make him a father of many nations.  And through chapter 15, verses 11-17 of same book of Acts; and chapter 8 and verse 6, same book of Acts; and also chapter 19, and verse 17, same book of Acts.

Then of course we read from different gospels that apostles went to different peoples, and nations, and cities all across Europe, and at that time, known world.  They went through the Roman empire and they turned world upside down.  The Gentile world and brought many to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

That's how the elect people of God were born in the wilderness of humanity as God promised through His chosen vessels.  That He will bring unto Himself an elect people who will glorify His name.

So, right from beginning of the early history of apostolic church we see that those prophecies of old started to happen, started to be fulfilled.  Eventually we read in the scriptures that the apostle exclaims, "Don't you know that all those who believe on Jesus Christ are the children of Abraham and that they are seeds of Isaac?"  (Romans 9 verses 6-8 Paraphrased)

There are many other references that show that the Gentiles have found the mercy of God.  Those who did not seek Him, they found mercy by the grace of God and by His great love that He bestowed by sending Jesus Christ to save everyone who believeth on His name and will be willing to accept Him and follow Him and live a life dedicated to Jesus Christ.

We see that as a result of these prophesies, as a result of this fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecy in the book of Acts and on through the history, that the saints and elect people came into being; a church was born.  And ever since, this church is marching on through all the trials and tribulations, through all the difficulties of the centuries.

Through dark ages it was marching on triumphantly with saints and elect in many different countries, in many different groups.  There were people throughout all the ages who were faithful to God and who were glorifying God's name and living for His sake and if need be, they were dying for His sake.

We read here that church of God, the saints, the elect, came into being.  So we like to very briefly mention the scriptures which you can study and read and the next question will be 'Who are the saints?'

So for that particular question, please read: Romans 1:7; 12:13; 16:15; I Corinthians 14:33; 16:1; II Corinthians 1:1; 13:12; Ephesians 1:1; 1:15; Philippians 1:1; 4:21; Colossians 3:12.  These and many other Scriptures will exactly explain to us 'who are the saints?' which are mentioned in Bible.

You would notice that with nearly every church, or with every epistle that God dealt with, apostle Paul or any other apostles, they write to Gentiles calling them saints.  Those who have found the mercy of Jesus Christ and came to the Lord - God calls them saints.

The Gentiles asked to fulfill the exact prophecy and the promise to Abraham that he would become a father of many nations.  So the Gentiles started to enter in into the big family of God, and that is His holy church, the apostolic church, of which there is only one.  There was one at the apostolic times, through the centuries there was only one apostolic church, and even now, there is only one true apostolic church which will be distinguished by God's principles, by God's Word, which pertains to description of the saints and what their deeds are.

So now, the second question will be, 'Who are elect?'.  Because that's the words and terms that were used in the Old Testament as a being a promise for the nations, for the Gentile nations - "'elect' people"  that "God will 'elect' for Himself a people."

We are reading now in New Testament.  Who are elect?  Please read: I Peter 1:1,2; 2:9; 5:13; Romans 8:33; 16:13; Ephesians 1:4; Colossians 3:12; II Thessalonians 2:13; Titus 1:1; Matthew 24:22,24,31.  In all those Scriptures which we have read over for your study you would find that the word 'elect' is used, at least in my Russian Bible, the word 'elect' is used to pertaining to the Gentiles, pertaining to the people of God whom God has elected, chosen for His own people and that is to fulfill the promise to Abraham.

And so we became sons of Abraham by faith as the Bible tells us in the Gospels, or in the Epistles.  Therefore, we would see from this and many other Scriptures which I did not read but you could find them in your own Bible pertaining to who they, the elect, really are, and who the saints really are which are mentioned in Bible.

So here we see that it was spoken mainly to the Gentile nations, to Gentile people, to the people of God who were chosen by God, who were elected by God to comprise, to make up, the church of Christ, the body of Christ.  We see that this happened not only at the time of the apostolic days when the church got birth, but it went right through the history, right through many centuries.

God was selecting Himself, picking out, choosing, bringing, calling to Himself a Gentile people to make up a holy generation, an elect people, a people of God, that the promise to Abraham should be fulfilled, that he will be a father of many nations.  "In him all the nations of the earth shall be blessed."  (Gen.  18 verse 18 Paraphrased) That's another promise which we didn't read, but there are many promises concerning the Gentile people.  Study the Word of God very thoroughly.

This brought us then right through the apostolic times, right from apostolic church, right through the centuries to the birth of the people in the 15th century as the Anabaptist history tells us.

God has risen to Himself a people who wanted to believe in His Word, wanted to live according to His Word, wanted to follow Christ, wanted to follow the narrow way.  And so we read much history about them of which we are aware.  I may not be aware of all the history, but I read some of the history and I'm aware that God had been choosing right across the land of Europe, and even England, and some other lands.

Lord was choosing Himself a Gentile nation, a Gentile people, to bring to Himself, to bring them into His church, into apostolic church.  So we read from the Anabaptist history what these people were and what they were doing.

We read very brief portion from this history, "The early Anabaptists were earnest in their commitment to Christ and zealous in spreading the Word.  Each was admonished to live a consistent life and to explain to others the requirement for becoming true followers of Jesus.

In many places to which banished Anabaptists fled, new Anabaptist congregations emerged, sometimes within a few days after an arrival of a message of Gospel.  The ministers of the Anabaptists were practically the only sent missionaries of their time.  They went from area to area holding meetings for all those who cared to hear their message.  They were under the constant danger of apprehension and death.

During the ministry of Leenaert Bouwens (a contemporary leader of Menno Simons in the Netherlands) 10,252 persons were baptized.  Unlike the state church leaders who would not preach where they were not protected by the authorities, Anabaptists did not shrink from proclaiming the message anywhere regardless of the dangers.

The Hutterian brethren had the practice of sending out missionaries two by two to go preaching from the city to city.  Few of them ever returned."

So here we read that the God hath chosen Himself a nation, a people who wanted to be true followers of Jesus Christ, and to live a consistent life.  Not only that but to spread the Word to others and we see that there they were mighty preachers.

If we are to believe history, the known world of Europe was evangelized by them within very short period of time on horses and on foot with their efforts of zealous preaching and being obedient to commandment of Christ.

The Anabaptist history books call them fiery preachers and I believe that because by the results we read here that sometimes within a few days after arrival of meetings, a new congregation emerged.

That is the success of obedient God's people who were moved by the power of the Holy Ghost to do those mighty works of preaching.  And that more or less reminds me of the preaching in apostolic days when people were added daily to the church.

Wherever the apostles went in the power of the Holy Ghost, they made converts and a new congregation emerged within days, within same day, and sometimes within a couple of weeks as we read the book of Acts.  But there is only very small account of all the work that apostles did in the book of Acts.  But we know that in the apostles lifetime that all the known world was evangelized and there were many, many hundreds of thousands converts in all the land.  We showed that they were also fiery preachers moved by the Holy Ghost.

At the beginning of the chapter I mentioned that looking back in the history of Anabaptists, the history of the Ukrainian and Slavic people are more or less the same.  Basically approach and life-style is the same because our people in Ukraine and Russia have had the same experiences.

As one man was sent by Holy Ghost from the USA to Russia, he came to Ukraine.  And then from that one man, from his mighty preaching, revival started which brought multitudes saved.  And then people went from village to village, from city to city, by foot and by horses, proclaiming the Gospel in same like manner as the Anabaptists, with the same success that multitudes came to the Lord and believed.

In that respect we see that they were moved by Holy Ghost to proclaim the message and the power of the Holy Ghost.  The message was preached and received, same like in apostolic days.  We see that whenever they preached, there were results.

This to me is the real apostolic church, and with the same result.  So that is what people of God need to take notice of, what makes people of God to be really an obedient vessel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

As I mentioned earlier, that our people, Slavic background, is similar to the Anabaptist people in Europe background.  And in that sense I can call myself an Anabaptist also.  If I understand correctly the meaning of 'Anabaptist', it means 'against the infant baptism.'

When God sent that one man from United States to Russia to preach the Gospel, a mighty Gospel, a saving Gospel, delivering Gospel, in the power of the Holy Ghost.  People of God were taught from the Bible as well by Holy Ghost that people have to come to the knowledge of God and believing in their adulthood and be baptized sensibly, with their own decision and will.

The whole of Russia during that time, and Ukraine for that matter, were baptizing their infants.  That is they were putting some little water on their head, the priest did that.  And so this was rejected by the real people of God who came to the knowledge of Lord Jesus Christ and His teaching and commandments.  So, they became strong opponents, and their preaching against infant baptism and they were baptizing adults when they come to the Lord with repentance and forsaking their sinful ways and making a decision to follow the narrow way.

So they were real Anabaptists in Russia also, you know, preaching against infant baptism.  And also, all the different things like communion and washing of feet and the separation from the whole world totally.  That was the way of life.  That was the part and the package of preaching.  And also the very modest living and very sober living.  That was way of life and way of preaching, calling people to repentance.  In that respect I compare Anabaptist history from Europe and history from Slavic people in Russia and Ukraine and it's basically the same.  And so that what makes me to feel for the people of God here in the United States of America and Canada.

Wherever I meet Anabaptist people, and we find things in common.  And I find peace with them immediately and we have something to share and something to exchange.  And we are rejoicing in those things.

So this way, we want to share with people of God very specific message about last days.  But before we go into that, I'd like to also briefly touch upon the historical happenings of Anabaptist people as well as our own people, what took place with them and what they did when they met with hard trials and persecutions.

It was not only the success of Anabaptist people preaching and many conversions and many new groups emerging after their preaching of the Word of God in Europe.  That is not their whole story.

It was a story of bitter persecution and harassment and sometimes even death.  So therefore, we see that that's part of being a disciple of Christ.  And so the same thing more or less was in Russia and in China as our people came to the Lord.  They had to go in their various life periods through very severe persecution and dangers same as Anabaptist people in Europe.

I'd like to bring up some events which took place in history and also then relate them to the Word of God, and then bring the whole subject to the last days.

When I just came to Canada, I read an article about Anabaptist people in the early days of history when they were persecuted.  And that particular group was in Switzerland.

One big congregation of Anabaptists, had to flee because of the dangers of persecution.  So they fled to mountains of Alps in Switzerland.  There was an army which was sent after them to chase them, and to take them prisoners, or to destroy them.

These people were on foot traveling through the mountains trying to get away from this army, this group of soldiers.  Fortunately, in that particular group there was a prophet of God.  The Lord was leading them, revealing to them what to do.

When they saw the army on the opposite side of the mountain and they were getting closer and there was no way to escape because army was very light and without any burdens.  Anabaptist people were tired and hungry and they were with children and with some belongings.  And so it was very hard moving for them.

They had no way to escape from this army.  They would have been overtaken, but God spoke to this man of God that God will take care of them and God will hide them from the enemy.  When they prayed God said that He will protect them and hide them from the enemy.  And within short time a big cloud came down into the valley and separated these Anabaptist people from the army.  And so the army was completely enveloped in the cloud and they could not see the Anabaptist people anymore.  And so they were able to get away and make to safety.

So that is one example that I read about Anabaptist history, there may be many more like this.  And that article wasn't even in Anabaptist books at all, it was just some article in a Christian magazine.

Now, "Listen to what Leonhard Keyser, an Anabaptist, said in August 1552, on the day of his death:

In the second year of his ministry, Leonhard Keyser was apprehended at Scharding, in Baveria, and condemned by the Bishop of Passau, and other priests and capilaries [sic capitulars], to be burned on Friday, before St.  Lawrence Day, in August of the same year.  Having bound him on a cart, they took him to the fire...  When he came out into the field and was approaching the fire, he, bound as he was, leaned down at the side of the cart, and plucked a flower with his hand, saying to the judge who rode on horseback along side of the cart:

"Lord judge, here I pluck a flower; if you can burn this flower, and me, you have justly condemned me; but on the other hand, if you cannot burn me and this flower in my hand, consider what you have done, and repent."

Thereupon the judge and the three executioners threw an extraordinary quantity of wood into the fire, in order to burn him immediately to ashes by the great fire.  But when the wood was entirely burned up, his body was taken from the fire uninjured.  Then the executioners and their assistants built another great fire of wood, which when it was consumed, his body still remained uninjured, only his nails and his hair were somewhat burned brown, and, the ashes having been removed from his body, the latter was found smooth and clear, and the flower in his hand, not withered, or burned in the least.

The executioners then cut his body into pieces, which they threw into a new fire.  When the wood was burned up, the pieces lay unconsumed in the fire.  Finally they took the pieces and threw them into the river Inn.  The judge was so terrified by this occurrence that he resigned his office, and moved to another place.

His chief servant, who was with the judge, and saw and heard all this, came to us in Moravia, became our brother, and lived and died piously.  That it might not be forgotten, our teachers have recorded this as it came from his own lips, and now cause it to be promulgated and made known.

[Thieleman J.  van Braght, Martyrs Mirror, (Scottdale, PA, Herald Press, 1950) pp420 - 421]

The major requirement of a prophecy from God, is that it comes true.  Leonhard Keyser's did.

Here is an example of real spiritual authority as quoted from the records of the Anabaptists:

In AD 1556, or thereabouts, there was in Beverwijk, Holland, a brother named Augustine, a baker by trade, who had forsaken the world, and been baptized upon his faith, according to the ordinance of Christ, which the papists could not endure.  There was at that time a burgomaster who was very bitter, and filled with perverted zeal, who sometimes said that he would furnish the peat and wood to burn Augustine.  The bailiff had said that he should not apprehend Augustine without previously warning him; but he did not keep his word, for he came upon a time when Augustine was at his work, kneading dough.  Perceiving him, Augustine attempted to flee, but was instantly seized by his pursuers, and cast into prison.

As he was a man who was much beloved, it greatly grieved the bailiff's wife, who said to her husband: "O you murderer, what have you done!"  but all in vain, he had to follow his Lord Jesus as a lamb is led to the slaughter.  As he steadfastly adhered to his faith, they passed a cruel sentence on him, namely that he should be tied to a ladder, and thus cast alive into the fire, and burnt.

On his way to death, he saw one of his acquaintances, to whom he said: "Farewell, Joost Cornelissen."  The latter, prompted by his good opinion of him, replied in a friendly manner: "  I hope that we shall hereafter be together forever;"  whereupon said burgomaster replied out of a heart judging with partiality: "He will not get to the place whither you will go; but he goes from this fire to the eternal."  Thereupon Augustine said to the burgomaster: "I cite you to appear within three days before the judgment seat of God."

As soon as the execution was over, the burgomaster was instantly smitten with a raging sickness, and continually cried with a guilty conscience: "Peat and wood, peat and wood!"  so that it was terrible to hear; and before the three days had expired, he died; which was a great sign of the all-seeing eye of God, who would not suffer such cruelty to go unpunished, as an example to all those who from perverse blindness should commit such deeds.  ...  [Thieleman J.  van Braght, Martyrs Mirror (Scottdale, PA: Herald Press 1950), p.  553]

Awesome.  The hand of God.  By the Word of the Lord, as spoken through His servant Augustine, that Burgomaster was condemned to death."  [Area between quotes (") taken from following source: E.H.  Skolfield, Demons In Church, (Fort Meyers, FL, Fish House) pp.  65-66, 75-76.]

The test of a true prophet is found in Jeremiah 28:7-9, I Samuel 9:19-20, 10:2-7.

We see from these three examples of Anabaptist History that there were men of God filled with the Holy Spirit and they had a spirit of prophecy to predict future happenings.  They had a gift of miracles which caused miracles.

Bible says that God always had a faithful remnant (and always will) of the Living Gospel.  This is evident throughout the whole history of nations.  Our people were blessed with gifts of the Spirit in Russia, China, Australia, Canada.  He did mighty things in Moldavia, Rumania, Yugoslavia, Poland, in Africa.

We personally heard hundreds of witnesses of Holy Spirit's work in our modern day and age and this proves that the Word of God is true -Christ is the same yesterday (Days of apostles, Anabaptist) TODAY, and forever.  See Joel 2:28-29 speaks of the last days and we certainly live in the last days.

But anyhow, similar things took place with our people in Russia and in China when Lord intervened when times were hard and there was persecution taking place.

I have mentioned before how Lord intervened on behalf of very simple people of God in the Ukraine as He led farmers who never traveled more than a hundred kilometers in their lifetime.

He moved them from city to city across into the border of China and then across into China, for the purpose of delivering them from danger.  For the purpose of saving them and using them for revival in China and for proclamation of the Gospel in China among Slavic population.

So those were the purposes of God always, to those who would want to listen to the voice of God to lead them, to protect them and to use them as vessels to further His kingdom on this earth.

There were many incidents in Russia and in China which took place, but I'd like to just relate a few besides those which you have heard before.

The people who remained in Russia went through very severe persecution and many hundreds and thousands of them died there.  This was unfortunate because they probably didn't have enough strength to leave their belongings behind and move out to China as God wanted them to move, out to a safer ground, to a safer place.

But in spite of that, God's mercies endureth forever, and so God was still helping them in those very trying situations.  There were many times during persecution in Russia and the Ukraine.  As my friends, who came from there, related to me many, many incidences when God intervened and protected those who were willing to obey and listen to Him.

Quite often God led them from place to place from dangers and so they avoided certain death and they were able to survive and proclaim the Gospel to the surrounding people.  So quite a few times God has moved them from houses where authorities would come and catch them and send them to prison or to kill them.  And God would, at last moment, notify them by the Holy Spirit of the danger coming and God told them to go to another house and they had meetings there.

And so the authorities wanted to catch them and the house which they were told they would be gathering there was nobody gathering at that specific night.

There were many incidents like that where God moved them from place to place for their safety.  And that is like very local, very small things maybe in the eyes of some people, but God kept them that way from dangers and used them to proclaim the Gospel.

But there was many other disastrous things happening in Russia as the judgments of God upon the country.  And I'll relate one which was told to me about the city of Alma Ata - most of it or half of it was washed away by a big lake dam which was broken.

What actually was happening on one specific, very nice bright day, and a big drinking party gathered in the mountains above Alma Ata city just below the lake.  It was a mountain lake.  It was a very big lake and had a big dam which was holding the waters.  They were getting water from that dam for drinking if I understood correct.

The big drinking party of people gathered just below the lake to have a picnic and stuff like that.  All of a sudden a big mountain above the lake collapsed into the lake and created a tremendous high wave.  A lot of water, or most of the lake, was emptied through the dam and broke the dam and rushed several meters high down on this party and washed many of them away and then it went down to the city of Alma Ata which was laying below in the valley and washed away many people, many houses, and there was much destruction.

But praise to God that people who were walking in close union with God, they heard the voice of God several days before that.  And they were told to move out of town and most of them did.  A couple of families did not want to move out.  They did not believe it, they did not believe this prophecy and they stayed and said, 'No!  God is strong and able and loving to protect us wherever we are because we believe and trust unto Him.' And so they stayed behind.  But majority of the group moved out and several days later this big disaster come about.  And of course these couple families were washed away and everybody perished.  Except one lady who was left as a witness of the terror which was in that city.

So this was one of several cases of catastrophic disasters which were taking place, but God was warning His people in Russia.  As many friends related to me how God moved, talked, led, and protected, and saved people from place to place way back in Russia.  Similar situations happened during our lifetime in China.

There were a couple wars, like revolutions in China.  Already by that time there was quite a large group of believers in China through the ministry of the Gospel.  Many people have been converted and they had received the supernatural gifts of God, and so they were in close union with God because the people were in prayers daily.

First thing in the morning, at five o'clock in the morning, there were prayer groups before the work.  And then every night there was prayer groups all across town praying to the Lord.  That was the secret of the abiding power and presence of God in their lives.  Same as in days of apostles.  The secret of the apostolic success was that they were in the Word and in prayer daily as we read in our Russian Bible.

In this particular instance God was warning that people of God should move out of town, just on the outskirts of town, because there will be a big, big killing going on in the city.  There will be a war, there will be a slaughter in the city.  So Lord told everybody to move out, the whole church.  And of course, people of God were obedient.  They took their time because God gave them time.  It was during springtime when Lord told them that.  So they slowly moved out, and everybody moved to the outside of town, to a particular district where God had told them to.  God told them to what particular district to go to outside of town.

So when the revolution came and there was big commotion and big killing going on right in town.  And many people were killed and their houses burned and destroyed.  Turkish people suffered; Russian people suffered.  And it was big destruction there in that particular city.

But these people who moved out, they were under protection of God and none of them suffered.  They only heard from distance the shooting of the rifles.  But they never experienced any danger because they knew they were under the hand of God as God told them to move out.  But with God and with His leadership and with His speaking to God's people, it's not always roses because there is always a human element of disobedience as we read in Bible.

It was possible for the men of God to disobey the voice of God and then bear the consequences.  So there one brother who was living right in the castle which was more or less army barrack unit type of thing.  In that castle, which was surrounded by high walls, he had a house there, he bought a house.  And he was working there for the government.  There were like a little army which was stationed in that castle surrounded by big walls.  And that brother was working with his family in there and he was quite well off, he had a good pay and everything.

So when Lord told him, because he was far away from the most of the congregation - about maybe seven, eight kilometers away - and he couldn't make it to the prayer meetings quite often because he was busy working there.  But he was a vessel of God; he was a prophet of God.  And God told to him personally, "My son, get away from this place because there'll be destruction and killing going on and move to such and such a place."  And it was the same district told to him as God told to many others.  And so this brother heard the voice of God, but he hesitated.  He did not want to move out because he had a good house and a good job.

Yes!  This brother had a good job and that he was sorry to leave his house behind and so he dickered with God and said, "God, if you send me a buyer for such and such a price, I'll move out."

The next day, God sent him a Turkish man.  He never spoke to anybody but God sent that Turkish man and Turkish man said, "I want to buy your house."  And he said, "How much do you want it?"  And he said, "Do you want to sell it?"  And he said, "Yes."  He gave him the price which he had in his mind.  And Turkish man said, "OK, I'm buying it right now."  But he said, "No, let me talk to my wife and we shall think about it.  Come later."

And so then he did not sell that house for the price he said.  Because there was no dickering and man was willing to pay the price that he set and was quite a good price.  And then Lord told him the same night, "My son, move out because the righteous will suffer greatly.  There'll be great bloodshed here.  Move out of this area to such and such place."

And he still was dickering with God, "And God, if You will send a man who will give me a bigger price, I'll sell."  And sure enough, God sent another man, another good Turkish man, to this man's house.  And he said, "Are you willing to sell a house?"  He said, "Yes."  "How much you want for it?"  He gave him a bigger price now.  And that man says, "OK, I'm buying it."  And yes, even at that time, he has changed his mind and he didn't sell it.

So, why I'm saying all this?  This is to relate how the living God, in His mercy, deals with His children even though sometimes that they can be disobedient even when they have the Spirit of God, when they have the gift of prophecy, yet they can be disobedient and they can suffer consequences.

So what happened with this brother?  That was in the spring time and then God said to him that, "You are going suffer consequences because you disobeyed me."  And so when, this man was making different baskets and chairs from the willow branches.  (Some of them are imported from China).  There were lots of willows, and he had to go to the big river just outside of town and there was a big island.  The river was divided in two and created a big island and there was lots of wonderful willows, great willows that he could cut and then bring it across in the boat, to the shore and bring it to the house and make different baskets and chairs, and whatever else, and he was selling it as a sideline and was making good money.

So when this man went to that island and all of a sudden the Holy Spirit came upon him mightily and this man fell on his knees in fear.  And then he started to pray in the power of the Holy Spirit and then he started to crawl on his knees and on hands, across the opening, like a grass field on that island.  He started to crawl for quite a little while.

After a time, he was raised by the Holy Ghost on his feet and Holy Spirit spoke to him.  "My son, this is how you will be running away - on your knees and hands - if you do not obey me and leave that place.  You will suffer greatly.  And as a sign for you that thus saith the Lord, this island will burn - all of it.  And only the path where you been crawling on your knees, that will be left intact."

So this man got fearful and he got home and he talked to his wife and says, "Well, maybe we should move out,"  and stuff like that.  But after a little while, he started making his baskets and got busy with his other work, and business was going good, and so he forgot all about it and he did not move out.

So when in the fall he went to the same island to take some more of the willows as a last batch before the winter, he came to the island and there were no willows to take.  The whole island was burned to the ground and only that path where he crawled was left with grass about four or five meters wide and the length of his crawl.  All that straight path or patch of grass was left intact.  It didn't burn.  It was like a rectangular block left as a sign for him.  And then even then he did not move out.

So then, late in the fall when he was working at his house for the army, the enemies' army (the Chinese army) took over the city.  And there were lots of killings and burning and everything.  They also took over that castle.

They arrested this brother, his family, and some others, like unbelievers, they arrested them.  And of course what happened, they brought them to the wall, close to the wall of the castle on the inside of it, and they wanted to shoot them.

This brother was standing in line to be shot.  And he saw that the soldiers, under the command, were shooting men, one by one.  Putting them against the wall and shooting them, one by one, with rifles.  So this man was praying hard of course, now he found time to pray and really was praying hard, "Lord, have mercy upon me.  Lord, have mercy upon me."  And he was praying very hard.

His family was also captive but they were kept in a house but men were to be shot.  So he was in line and there were several men left before him.  And all the sudden while he was praying very hard, Holy Spirit power came upon him, and Holy Spirit power moved him strongly, and he was thrown against the wall.  And he was thrown to the very spot where there was little creek running through this castle and was running in through the castle ground and was running out.

Being late fall, close to winter time, there was snow on the ground, a little bit of snow on the ground, it was very cold.  There was no water anymore in this little creek.  But there was a little passage, very narrow little opening underneath the wall there just for the creek to go through, very tight spot.

Holy Spirit threw that man directly headlong into that hole.  And when man saw what God wanted him to do, he saw that hole and he started to climb through that tight hole very fast.  And soldiers run after him when he started to climb through this hole and they grabbed him by a boot and they took one boot off.  He only had one when he passed through to the outside of the castle wall, it was quite a high wall.  And then he started to crawl on his knees and hands running away from the enemy.  Several soldiers got up on the wall and they were shooting him from several rifles, right at him at close range.  He was just crawling away, and crawling away and praying hard, "Lord, forgive me.  Lord, help me.  Lord, save me."  He was crawling on knees and hands and praying, all the way on this snowy ground, on the cold ground.

He had his knees and hands in blood, torn by the rough ground what he was crawling through.  And he was relating this story personally to me, that he heard them bullets whistling left and right of him.  Left and right, and top and bottom.  And even his hat was punctured with bullets just above his head several times.

They were whistling by the left ear or by the right ear or above his head.  All over he would see the bullets raising the dirt and snow all around him.  But never once was he hit by the bullet because God was merciful and He kept this man because of his repentance and his prayer.  And he was crawling away until he crawled right to the forest and then in the forest he was able to stand on his feet and run and run and run by the side of the city to that area where God told all the other people to move out.

They were already moved out several weeks before that.  Some of these people moved out a couple months before that because God gave them a long time warning that they should move out because of the dangers.  And when he came, in the darkness of the night, crying and bleeding and weeping and cold, half-frozen, with bare foot, one foot was no boot, and other one had the boot on.

And so he came to one of the houses and there was a prayer meeting going on mightily.  And God raised another prophet, right at that prayer meeting, and He rebuked this man sternly even though nobody knew what happened.  He rebuked that man sternly for his disobedience to the Lord and called him to repentance.  And so this man repented thoroughly and then after the prayer meeting he told what had happened to him.  And he was crying bitterly and was telling all the others and even young people.  "Young people, always be obedient to the Lord.  Never disobey the voice of God when God tells you to do something, and to move away or to do something.  So better be obedient because he suffered greatly as God told him before on his disobedience."

And so what God told him on the island there when Holy Spirit come upon him, and moved him on his knees and hands; that sign was fulfilled and also, this crawling on his knees and hands was literally fulfilled to the letter because man had to save his life as he was crawling among the small bushes, right through the field until he reached the forest, and until he was out of reach of the bullets.

But men on the wall, the soldiers were shooting at him constantly until he disappeared out of sight.  And they never hit him by the grace of God.  That's how the mercy of God was working.

So this was to show how God deals with His people, that those who have voice of God, those who hear voice of God, those who have a spirit of prophecy, when God tells them something to do, they better do it because God knows what is best for His people.

We see here that was the thing which was happening with people of God.  And there was many other instances of a smaller nature, but this one was quite a serious one.

When the revolution ended, and everything was quieted down, and everything settled again, God told them to move back to town.  And they came back and they went back to their own houses, their own work, and everything like that, not one soul even perished.  Only this man suffered greatly.  His family suffered greatly and they were treated very badly in captivity in that castle.  The man's wife and his daughters were treated very badly because of disobedience of husband.  Because husband is the head of the house he has to better be obedient to the voice of God because if man does not obey, the whole family will suffer.

This shows how the living God worked through history, in the days of old, and how He worked in our days trying to protect and lead and save God's people and use them for His glory.

Another instance was of more serious nature.  It was more serious because it was a prolonged area, prolonged time of fighting and God warned His people the whole city will be affected, and even surrounding areas.  And so God told them to move out into completely different village altogether, way out altogether into completely different village.

There were two revolutions in China from 1933, (in 1932, when they came to China) and until 1948.  There was two severe revolutions.  And during each time God warned His people, the whole church, and protected them and their children and their belongings.  They were protected because God, by prophecy, warned them to move out in time.

So this second time, of course it was more serious and was more prolonged time.  It wasn't a brief revolution like the first one.  And so, the surrounding areas were affected also very severely.  There was big fighting going on between Turkish and Chinese people this time.  And so there was very big bloodshed going on there.

God told His people to move out to another village altogether, quite far away.  And so God told to His people to do that and of course, they were obedient enough to obey.  But, unfortunately, again there were two families, who because of their houses, because of their belongings, or whatever other reasons, they did not move out.  And one of them was prophet.  He said, "Well, I do not believe that God will destroy us if we are faithful to Him.  And He's willing and able to save me in this city."  So he being a prophet of God, Lord used him before to bring a message to God's people.  But he, more or less rejected the voice of God, rejected the Word of God, and so he stayed behind.

Then another man stayed behind.  Because he rejected the Word of God, Lord brought another prophet to him, like in the days of old, God brought prophets to prophets and gave a message from one prophet to another if you remember those things in the Bible.  So God brought another prophet to him and said, "Because you did not believe Me and did not obey Me and rejected My Word, they are going to torture you and they going to cut your tongue out.  You spoke with your tongue against God's Word and so they going to cut your tongue out."  Quite a few people heard that.

And so the whole church moved out of that village, and they were in safe distance from the fighting and from this bloodshed and everything.  Many people suffered and many unbelievers were killed.  And all the others run in different directions like flies.  And properties were damaged and everything like that.  And many Turkish people were killed.  There was big fighting going on and much suffering in that city.

When all this went over after a couple of months, when everything finished and everything got done, the people of God were told to move back safely because the trouble was over.  And so they came back to their own city and their own houses.  And this brother who was crawling on his knees and hands, he heard that message about this man who stayed behind that he will be tortured and he will have his tongue cut out.

So, when they came to the city, the local population told that there was much torturing going on in the city and many people were tortured and killed.  Because Chinese people when they are at war they are very, very ferocious people.  And so, and they said they were dumping them on a garbage dump.  Those people who were tortured they were dumping on a garbage dump.

So this brother who was crawling on hands and knees, out of curiosity, went to the dump.  And he saw many bodies, mutilated bodies there.  And he was going about looking all over and finally to his surprise, he found this brother, this prophet who was laying on his back and his mouth was gaping open.  His ears were cut off and when his mouth was open and there was no tongue in it.

And this brother said, "I did not believe it so I put my finger into mouth and moved about to look if there was tongue and there was no tongue."  Yes!  His tongue was cut out because he had rejected the Word of God when God spoke to move out.  And he defied, in a sense, he defied God in this case.  So God judged him as he prophesied.

So, this shows you know, that God is God of love but God is also God of Judgment when men of God, even being vessels of God, even being prophets of God, they disobey His voice.

This is no secret because we read that in Bible, this is perfectly Scriptural.  When Saul was a man of God, God baptized him with the Holy Spirit.  He had a new heart.  I read in my Bible, he got a new heart from the Lord and he was very blessed man.  He was prophesying with many other boys there and he was real man of God.

But when he disobeyed on several occasions God rejected him and eventually Saul was killed.  Saul suffered for his disobedience.  God judged him.  So we see God is no respecter of persons.

And now if you remember another prophet who came to the city of Bethel.  The king was wanting to bring an offering on the altar to his idol and so man of God told him to repent and so to stop this idolatry and so the king told his servants to take this man away.  And of course when he stretched his hand his hand went stiff.

You remember that story.  And then the king got fearful and he asked the man of God, the prophet of God, to pray for him that God will heal him.  And so God healed him.  This prophet was told by the Lord to return home by the other road, not to go in to any house, not to greet anyone.

And this man you remember, he disobeyed God, there was reason for disobeying it, but anyhow he had no excuse, he had the word of God initially.  And so he believes some other word which is very, very critical for us in this last days, we will touch upon that subject little bit later.

And so we read that that man was judged by God.  The lion came on the road, met him after he stopped by the house and he ate and drunk and he went by on the way to home.  The lion stopped him and killed him and was standing over him.  So we see he was judged, even though he was a man of God, he was a prophet of God, he was a vessel of God, he was used of God.  Yes!  But that doesn't give us guarantee that we can do anything what we want or we disobey God because God is not only God of love, but God is consuming fire, we read that in New Testament, that's not Old Testament I'm sharing with you.  So God is the same yesterday, today and forever.  He's the same God and He's a righteous God and a just God.

So therefore brethren, we are sharing this things just to show how important it is to walk with God softly and to obey the voice of God.  God speaks to His people and leads them to some point or to some safety.  So during this second time of trouble and killings and war in that particular city, those two families stayed behind, so prophet suffered, he was tortured and killed, and then other brother, he was not tortured but he was just shot in the back.  He was running away but it was too late to run.

He had time to run, he had time to move.  God told them beforehand to move out into another village far away.  He had time but he did not want to leave his house, his family, his boys were working and everything like that so he kind of looked behind.  And so when the city was taken over, he started to run, but it was too late.  He was shot in the back and he was killed.  So he suffered.  And his family, of course, became orphans and his boys when they were in Australia and I met them and they were fatherless, they had no father because their father disobeyed and they were orphans.

They were raised by the mother who came to Australia.  She was obedient enough to obey God and follow God's instruction and they moved out from China into Australia.

So these are historical kind of a posts along the way which show the coming generation, the future generations.  It is fearful to fall into the hands of the living God as the New Testament says because people of God have to be walk very softly, very obediently before the Lord.  And so we read that from the Word of God that this obedience to the Word of God and to the prophecy of God as God directed His people of Old through the prophets to do many things, and if people obeyed it was well with them.  If people disobeyed, it was judgment upon them.

I'm sharing this just so that people of God will have faith in the living God.  That God is alive even today.  And He even today can speak and lead and save and protect.  And so there are many events which took place all along the way including not only in China, but even here in Canada.  I'll relate just a few to share that this was not only the days of the past.  Even in the our very recent days I have met some other men like those who were my dear brethren and ministers and evangelists like of the Ukrainian people.

I just share with you very quickly, one evangelist who was a very good friend of mine.  His ministry was going to South America and preaching the Gospel there.  And he was very humble man of God and God used him to bring many thousands of souls to the Lord's kingdom in South America.

He was due to fly out from New York City to South America on specific day.  He booked the tickets, and he was to fly on that specific day.  And then God told him, "My son, do not take this plane.  Book for the next plane."  And that was all God said.  And this man was obedient enough because he heard the voice of God.  God told him that he should book for another day and do not take this plane on which he was booked.  And so he obeyed and then when he was at home when that plane departed, the news came that that plane went down and people were killed.  So he was a man of God and Satan wanted to kill him but God is stronger than Satan.  He warned His servant and spared his life that he can use him, for His glory, in coming days.

If this man did not have a leadership of God's Holy Spirit, of course he would have taken that plane and he would have perished.  But he did not take the plane and the next day there was news that this plane had come down and people got killed.  He safely departed on another plane and he was ministering for many more years.

This brother was sharing with me an incident that happened while he was in Brazil.  In one particular city there was lots of witchcraft and many other things and lots of the devil's people there And he preached the message of repentance, and coming to the Lord, and forsaking this witchcraft and everything.

These people were very antagonistic in that city.  And there was big demoniac opposition and people mocked the Gospel and they laughed at it because he was preaching on public square with megaphones there and everything.  The people mocked openly.  There was lots of demon workers there, and the devil's people.

When these people rejected the gospel and mocked the gospel and mocked the servant of God, then God told to this brother, "Move out of this city.  I'm going to judge this city."

Also there were just a few families, a few Christians in that city, but they were mocked and they were very ridiculed and they had no way with anybody because they just openly defied the Gospel.  The devil worshipping people, they were really bold and mocking.

So God told individually to God's children to move out of the city all together because God is going to judge this city.  And they moved out obediently away from that city, it wasn't a very big city in Brazil.  Then when this brother was preaching in the neighboring city, (it was just couple days after that he started preaching there), news came that a big mud slide come down from the mountain and covered all that city with all the inhabitants, with all the witchcraft and everything.  It was totally demolished and covered in mud slide.  And they uncovered some bodies but that was fruitless because city was just covered totally with big mud slide from the top of the mountain.

There was some water there or some river or some lake whatever it was, I don't remember now, but it was a big mud slide which come down and God destroyed that city for mocking the gospel.  Defying and mocking the man of God.

But my point was that those few children of God who were there, because they had been in communion with God, they had the Holy Spirit working in them and speaking to them, God told them to move out, and they did and they were just couple days later the city was destroyed.  And this is in our days, this wasn't very long ago - maybe like twelve years ago or so, if I remember correct.  So this shows that God is a living God today.  He still wants to lead His people today, speak to them, guide them, instruct them, and protect them for His glory and for His continuance of God's kingdom.

One friend of mine from Argentina, evangelist, came to Canada quite recently.  And he told there was in Argentina food crisis because of some catastrophe and some weather problems.

But before that happened, God told all of His children who believed in the Holy Spirit, who believed in prophecy, God told to all of them to store some food, get food for their families and even for some of their friends because there will be crisis coming of short duration.  There will be no food in that city and surrounding cities.  So people of God obeyed and they stored some food and then when the crisis came it was very drastic one and people couldn't buy and the people were really hungry.  Unbelievers and all that.  So this people of God were able to feed their families, plus they could show deeds of mercy to some neighbors of theirs and who later came to the Lord.

They were wondering, "How did you know to store food?  How did you know to, that this will come?"  And they said that, "There is a living God who is living in heaven but He also lives in God's children's hearts by the Holy Spirit and He can talk to us, and He can tell us of the things to come."

And that's exactly what Christ has promised.  So therefore we see that whatever Christ promised is working today in the people of God who are willing to walk in His obedience and also who are willing to enter into the promise of God by faith and appropriate all the promises and gifts of the Holy Spirit which are promised in the New Testament by Christ Himself and by the Holy Spirit which inspired men of God to write the Bible.

We read that all the promises are for God's people.  So here then we related quite a few life stories from Russia, from China, and even here.  It'll take long time to relate what Lord was doing in Canada and how Lord was leading and helping and saving and protecting our family or some others in this country.  But I do not want to take much more of your time and I'd like to, more or less, bring this to the Scripture.

I mentioned some of the Scriptures as paralleling the events of what took place in China and how Lord dealt in the Old Testament with God's people, even with the prophets of God.  Even Moses.

He was the biggest probably, biggest of them all, the biggest prophet of God with the mighty power of the Holy Spirit, working miracles and wonders as never in history.  And yet we see because of little disobedience, Moses did not enter in into the Promised Land.  We do not say that he is perished because he, apostle have seen him at the Transfiguration Mount with Christ.  No he did not perish but just for his disobedience, he did not enter into Promised Land even though he was promised that Lord will lead him and lead His people into the Promised Land.

Now, Lord promised also that He will bring all the nation of Israel from Egypt and bring them in to Promised Land.  But now why did they not enter in?  Because they did not believe Holy Spirit; they did not know His ways.  They wanted their own ways, they wanted the way of disobedience, they wanted to go their own fleshly ways.

So those things even possible to do today and that is to walk in the flesh and not walk in the Spirit.  It is possible to do your own thing, your own ways, and your own imagination, this is possible even to do today.  And that's happening among many churches in America and Canada.

But I'm talking about the Living God, a speaking God, a God of love, a God of grace, a God of mercy, who is today speaking and leading and protecting and guiding and using His people for God's glory.  So that is even possible for all those who believe His word, to enter in into the promises of God.

So then now, those life stories which I shared briefly with you either from Russia or China or Argentina or Brazil or Canada, now there is a question that arises: Is it Scriptural that God is doing those things, that God is moving, God is saving, God is warning His people?  Now, is this Scriptural or is this something like new what's happening in our days?

Let's look at the Scriptures.  If you remember when Moses was yet in Egypt, and he was young man.  When Pharaoh found out that he killed one Egyptian, Pharaoh wanted to kill Moses.  Now, what was the response of Moses?  We see that he started to run.  He run into another country away from Egypt.

Now is that legal, is that proper, when man of God, when the people of God see danger, is that proper in the light of Scripture, to run?  To get away?  Or is it proper to stay around?  What is the best thing to do here?

So let's see the Scriptures.  We see that Moses taken a step, he run away from Pharaoh, run away from Egypt into another land.  Until God brought him back for His work.  Otherwise, if he did not run, he would have been killed and the purpose of God would not have been fulfilled in taking him as a leader of the nation to lead them out from the land of Egypt with mighty miracles and wonders.

Now, we see that in Genesis chapter 12, verse 10, Abraham.  Abraham was prophet of God we read that.  In my Bible it says Abraham is a prophet and he will pray to God and God will hear him and heal that king which sinned against God.  So we see that Abraham was in that land and there was a trouble in that land.  There was famine in the land.  So what did Abraham do?  Did he stay around?  No!  We read that he went to Egypt to go away from starvation.

Now, is that logical thing to do?  For men of God, for people of God when there's a danger in the land, where there is a problem in the land, is it right thing to do is just to be bold and arrogant and say, "Well, Lord is our Lord and living God.  Now, Lord is going to protect us.  Lord is going to save us if we stay right here."  Now is that the way?

What did Abraham do?  What did he do?  We read that he went to Egypt from that starvation.  Genesis 19 verses 12-17.  What happened there?  We read about Abraham again and Lot.  Now, of course Abraham was out of area of danger, but Lot was in the area of danger.  Here we see that Lot has been warned by angels to go out.  Otherwise the city will be burned and he will burn too.

The question arises and many people more or less told me like: "No!  Our God is not God of wrath - He is a God of love in the New Testament, God will not do those things, God cannot destroy His people.  God cannot burn His people.  God cannot kill His people."  This is true, God does not do that, sure.  But disobedience will doom you.

So here is the Biblical, typical story.  Lot had faced two choices - to stay in city and bear the consequences or to obey the angels and flee, run away from danger.  And so of course, we read that Lot was tarrying.  There was many reasons to tarry, that's another subject, that's another message in itself, why Lot tarried, why his wife perished, why his children perished and stuff like that.  But that's another subject.

But we are now trying to find out, is this Scriptural, that what Lord was doing in Russia, in China, in Argentina and Brazil, and here, is this Scriptural?

So, we see that God has warned Lot to move away from destruction.  Even though he tarried, but the angels, by the mercy of the Lord to him, they took him by the hand, and his wife and daughters and led them out of the city and put them there and told them to run, run for their lives.  And even then Lot did not run to where he was told to run.  He wanted to run to some closer spot there.

You see how the nature of man is, even if he was a man of God.  We read that he was a righteous man, he was grieved by the sins of the Sodom but that still that nature of man, it wants to go his own way, wants to do something else but what God tells him to do or what is the will of God.  This seems to be the nature of man always in opposition to the will of God for people's lives.

So here we see that Lot was saved from destruction.  Now question is: Would Lot burn if he did not move?  Well, you better answer that question from the Scriptures and decide, would he burn or not?  If he did not obey God and did not move out, would he burn or not?  You better decide that having a foundation upon the Scriptures.

Now, we see that in I Kings chapter 17, verses 1-6 - Elijah, mighty man of God, man of miracles, man of many miracles of God and mighty power, warrior of God, a prayer warrior of God.  And here it is.  Now he could have stayed in the land and stayed around where he was.

What happened here when God's judgment was coming upon the land, and God pronounced judgment upon the land and everything, now did Elijah stay around?  No!  God told him to move out to a specific place, to a very secluded place and to stay put.

Maybe Elijah in his own mind, he would have been going around there preaching, having evangelistic campaign, having revival meeting, having Bible schools, and all those things, and having them raising the new prophets of God, and stuff like that.

There were sons of the prophets around Elijah and around Elisha, there were always like, you know God's people there.  Now, he could have had many more revivals after this success which he had with God and everything.  No!  Elijah, being obedient man of God, he just simply walks away to that brook and he was fed there by God Himself through a little creature.

Probably we wouldn't want to eat from that creature, but he did.  He was humble enough to eat from the mouth of that creature.  It was very unclean bird, but Elijah appreciated that.  He ate whatever Lord brought him.

So we see how God deals with God's people, how His will is for God's people, those who are in the will of God, those who are in the spirit of God, those who have the spirit of prophecy, the men of God.

God was always wanting to lead them, to protect them, so that He can use them further for His glory and for His work.

So here we see what Elijah did, he obediently and humbly went to the place Lord told him to go to and stayed there, waiting for further instruction of the Lord.  That's the way of the people of God.  That's the way of the sons of God.  Because Bible says in Romans all those who are led by the Holy Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

So here we see that Elijah was real son of God.  Very obedient one and he moved as Lord moved.  He went about and did God's work in God's time.  He did revival campaigns when God told him to.  When he was told to do something else, he did.  Now that's how God's people in Bible did move and act and live.

So we see that in the Old Testament days it was very normal thing for people of God, who knew God, who were chosen nation of Israel.  It was very customary, it was very regular thing to do, to go and inquire of the Lord.  Just remember our Old Testament brother David, prophet David.  He was in danger many times.

I just give you one portion of Scripture or couple about him, but there are many more.  I Samuel chapter 23, verses 10 to 14, he, David, was inquiring of the Lord, "Lord, now would these people betray me to Saul?"  And Lord said to him, "Yes!  They will."  And Lord told him whatever he asked.  So David knew what to do.  He moved away.  He just run away from that area of danger because otherwise he would have been destroyed.

So it's as simple as that.  From the Scripture we see that it is the will of God that people of God have the spirit of prophecy, and David had one.  David was a prophet.  He talked to God and God talked to him.

As in days of old, as in our day.  God talks to His people.  We see that here David moves out from the area of destruction, from the area of trouble, to a safer area, to a safer ground.  So I Samuel chapter 27, verses 1-4, that's the next one that we read.

We read that David ran to Philistines.  It seems to be contrary to our understanding, but he run to the camp of the enemies.  But why did he run there?  Because it was safer for him there.  Because he knew that the danger was awaiting him in the area where he was in.

So you see how the people of God, the prophets of God, what they did when they learn about the time or the area of danger.  They moved away; they run, they went away to safer places even though it may have been Philistines, sure.  With this case it is, it seems illogical to go from Israel to camp of the enemies, to Philistines.  But he did, he went away because he was safer there.

Now take the case of Jeremiah 21:9-11.  God told very plainly, "Who stays in the city will die.  Therefore move out.  Move out from the city."  And so many people obeyed?  No!  This is the problem with people of God, they have their own reasoning, their own devices, their own thinking, and they do not want to line up with God's will.

So many people suffered.  Now we see that there were many dangers awaiting for people of God in the Old Testament.  But they were delivered by the hand of God and they were always moved to safer places.  What happened in the book of Acts 11 verses 28-30?  We see there was little danger.  There was a famine in the land.  And so God, by Holy Spirit through prophet Agabus, He told the people of God what to do.  Same as when there was a famine in the land and Abraham did something to get away from the trouble; he moved out to Egypt.  Same with Saul.  David went to Philistines which was maybe different country, maybe even enemies country, not a very pleasant country.  But he went to safety.

So here we see that people of God in order to be safe and to carry on the work of the Lord, they knew what to do by the Holy Spirit.  And so they did well, even when there was a famine in the land.

Now, we might say that the people of God, if they are with the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is with them, and they are under protection of God - nothing will happen to them.

People argue that those three men in Babylon were protected in the fiery furnace.  They argue that you know it is not necessary to do those things.  But people!  God did in the Bible days and in our days.  And well, their argument is because of the ignorance of the Word of God.  Those three men in Babylon, they were captives.  They were slaves.  They had no choice.  They were in hands of Babylonian king, the most fierce king, the most powerful king, who ruled the known world.  They were in his hands, they had no choice.  So due to their faithfulness, God was obliged to protect them and to save them in the fiery furnace.  And they did not burn.

But I guarantee you from the Word of God, if Lot was told to move out from the city because God was going to burn the city with fire.  If Lot did not move out because he was free, he was not a slave, he was not a Babylonian slave, he was not in the hands of the Babylonian king, he was free to move, and if he did not move, he would have been burned same as his daughters and his sons-in-law burned and like all those cities burned with fire.

So we have to rightly divide the Word of Truth and see from the Scripture how God deals, how God moves.  So we see here what happened and what people of God did.

Now, was not God with Apostle Paul?  Was not Holy Spirit in him?  Was not he man of miracles?  Was not he man of wonders?  Yes!  He was!  He was.  Even the handkerchiefs from Paul were taken (Acts 19:12) and people got healed.  There was mighty power of God upon him.

Now you would say that Apostle Paul would expect God to just boldly to save him in every situation just without his efforts, without his actions.  But no!  Question stands, why Apostle Paul when he learn that his life is in danger, why he was let down on a rope along the wall and he escaped?

That sounds like Apostle Paul was a little bit of a chicken, a little bit of cowardly man.  No!  When danger is there and men of God know, they willingly, willfully, with their own understanding and with a knowledge of God from God, they move out to a better place.

Take case of Jesus Christ, if anybody else but Jesus Christ.  We read when He was born in Bethlehem, his father and mother were there looking after Him.  Could not God, having His only begotten Son in this earth, could He not keep Him and protect Him in this land of Palestine?  Could He not?  Yes!  He could.

But God does things natural way for His children, for His people.  God brought an angel to Joseph and said, "Joseph, take your wife, take your son, and flee to Egypt."  Simple as that.  Simple as that - flee to Egypt.  And they had to flee, literally run, to Egypt for Jesus Christ's life.  When the one who was threatening to kill Jesus had died, then God returned Joseph back to Palestine with Mary and Jesus.

If Son of God had to flee from trouble, then who are we, if in these last days, we seen so many Scriptures which show us what people of God, what the men of God, what prophets of God, did in the time of danger, in the time of trouble, what they did.

So I think that's more than enough Scripture to show us that is the way of God dealing with God's people, with God's children.  We see that even Jesus Christ Himself had to flee to Egypt with His father and mother.

Let us then go to commandment, now we are coming then to the area of last days.  I'm just more or less laying this background way back from Abraham to bring us to the realization that we are the people of God.  We are the elect.  We are the chosen.  We are the apostolic church.  We are the real Anabaptist people, all of us.

Those people in Germany in 15th century and those people whoever God elects and those who stand by the principles of God and believe in complete authority of the Scripture.  Accept all of the Scriptures, not picking what pleases and what does not please.

People of God, the apostolic people, they accepted all the Scriptures as inspired by God, profitable for all things.  So here then we see that by the Scriptures there is even a commandment for the last days.  Jesus Christ actually gave quite a few commandments for the last days which have to be fulfilled by someone, that is if we are aware of them.

This is why, by the grace of God, in my weakness as a smallest brother among you, I wish to point out some Scriptures to draw your attention to those Scriptures which pertain to the last days and to the commandments of God for the last days.  What people of God ought to know and what people of God ought to do in the last days.

And so then we are right now coming to the last days.  What is coming in the last days?  What is going to take place in last days?  What awaits Anabaptists in last days?  That's the title of our last message here.  And I trust that you are attentive and that you will have time to study those Scriptures which I have given you.  And there are more of them that you can find in concordance on the same subject.  Just to study them thoroughly and see the complete picture and you will be blessed and comprehend what is the will of God for the last days for the people of God.

So here I'll share with you one commandment that Jesus Christ gave.  "When they persecute you in one city, you flee to another city."  That's what Jesus Christ said.  Now is that commandment or not?  Yes!  If there is a danger in one city, you flee to another city.  That's Christ's personal words.  Now either we believe those words or we don't believe them.  Do we believe that this is the will of God for children of God, that's God's way of doing things?  He Himself had to run.

All the prophets of God had to run during danger times.  Many men of God had to listen to voice of God to avoid danger, avoid trouble spots, and get out from the area of destruction.  It was God's way right through the history.

Here is the first commandment of Jesus Christ pertaining to this: "If they persecute you in one city, flee to another city."  So then we see here this commandment the apostles knew.  If you remember after the big revival in Jerusalem, and after many, big multitudes came to the Lord, we read that there was heavy persecution from the authorities there.

Christ's disciples were dispersed.  They run to many different cities.  But they still carried the message; they preached the Word of God.  They didn't keep quiet.  They just relocated that's all it is.  So they relocated and just carried on the work of God.  So they must have known the commandment of Jesus Christ.  When they persecute you in one city, you flee to another city.  That's exactly what they did.  That's exactly what the Anabaptists did in the 15th century.  That's exactly what they did.  And those groups of Anabaptists which had the Holy Spirit, they were warned by God in advance.  And they knew what to do in advance, where to go in advance, and they were protected and were saved.

And same thing happened in Russia.  Those groups who had direct guidance of Holy Spirit and spirit of prophecy, who had prophets among them, they knew what to do and God moved them from one city to another and God safely delivered them from one city, one place to another, from one village to another.  And they were protected and guided by the Lord.  They carried on the work of God.

Those groups who did not have the spirit of prophecy among them, did not have the Holy Spirit speaking to them, they were of course were unawares.  And they were caught by the authorities.  They were taken to prisons, and they were persecuted, and many were killed.  Those were the many cases as brethren testified.

So you see that's what happens right through the history of Bible as well as in our history.  Right through the centuries, right into our times even.  So we see God says very specifically.  That's His law.  He cannot help that to happen but it does happen.  God says, "My people shall be destroyed for the lack of knowledge."  If people don't know what to do, people don't know what danger is coming.  If people don't have spirit of prophecy, if people don't have that living communion with God, if that channel of communication is not open, that channel, that telephone line, is not working, is broken someplace, or maybe even was never installed.  Some people should have that line installed, the line of communication that God can talk to man and man can talk to God.  So if people don't have that line, and they don't know what awaits them, what's coming upon them, and they can be destroyed.

God is not at fault.  He wanted them to have all His blessing.  He wanted them have all the guidance of God.  He wanted them to have all the nearness of God.  He wanted them all to have the presence of God.  And that is why Moses said, "I wish that all people of God were prophets."  Why?  Because they would talk to God.  God would tell them what to do, how to do things, and everything like that.  And so we see that this is what happened in Bible, in the Old Testament and New Testament, and in our days.  God does not change.  God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  That's only, of course, if you believe His word that Jesus Christ is same yesterday, today, and forever.

Christ said Himself, "When the Holy Spirit will come, He will teach you all things of what I said unto you and He will tell you of the future things to come.  He will warn you.  He will teach you.  He will guide you.  He will lead you."  So that's how it is with God.

And so here then we are coming to the question of the last days and what is coming in the last days.  What awaits Anabaptists in the last days?  Doesn't matter if those Anabaptists are from German background or from Ukrainian background.  If they are Anabaptists that means they are against infant baptism, they are Anabaptists.  If they are believing in holiness, in separate walk, if they believe in the principle of separation, total separation from the world, if they believe in all the God's ordinances which are recorded, if they believe in all the commandments of the Lord, and if they want to walk a holy life and a separate life, if they want to bear the cross of Jesus, if they want to walk a righteous life, then they are Anabaptists.

They are the elect.  They are the elect of God.  They are the holy nation, the elect of God.  So then they are the saints.

I have given you in the beginning the Scriptures regarding who are the saints and who are the elect.  It happened to be that the Gentiles are the elect.  According to the Scriptures which I have given (and there are many more of them), they are the Gentiles, the many nations of which the God has promised to Abraham, "...In thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed."  (Genesis 22:18).

So God promised Abraham many nations, that he will be the father of many nations.  We are one of them then.  So if we claim to be apostolic church, and if we are claim to be an elect, if we claim to be those saints, claim to be the elect, then we are.  We are God's church.  We are apostolic church.  We are God's people.

Therefore all these promises of God which were in days of old were experienced by God's people and in Christ's day and in apostolic days, they were experienced literally by God's people.  The divine power of God was available to apostolic church as you read.  We cannot deny that.  It was available to Anabaptists of the 15th century.  They were mighty men of God, they fiery men of God.  They got job done.  They had results.  They had the powerful results.  Why?  Because they were on fire for God, they had the Holy Ghost in them.  The apostolic work could only be done when the Holy Ghost was in the apostles and not otherwise.

You see, those things couldn't happen that happened in apostolic days as we read in Acts of Apostles if it was not the Holy Ghost Himself working in them, leading, guiding, protecting, and getting them all to do the God's work of evangelization as well as moving about.

And so here we come to the last days, question of last days: "What Awaits Anabaptists in the Last Days?"  We started with Isaiah, even though there are many, many dozens and dozens of Scriptures upon the subject of the last days, but I'll mention a few, you can pick a lot more from your Bible concordance on the subject of last days.  But I'll just point out a few.  What awaits the earth in the last days?  What will be happening to the people in last days?

Isaiah 13, chapter 13, verse 4 to 13.  So there we read, to save time I just briefly mention, the weapons of wrath are there to be brought by the Lord to destroy the whole earth.  The weapons of wrath are prepared by God Himself at the day of harvest.  There'll be a specific period that harvest will be taking place.

And of course, harvest does not happen in one second, in two seconds, in two minutes, or in one hour, or in a couple hours, or in half a day, or one day.  It doesn't happen that way.  Harvest has a period, same as planting has a period, same as growing has period.  So harvest has a certain period.

So that period of wrath of God, in the harvest time which we read from Christ's Word, the harvest is the end of an age.  So end of an age will have a certain period as we read in the Word of God.  So here God says that God prepared weapons of wrath to destroy the whole earth.  That means the whole earth will be affected if we believe the authority of God's Word.

Prophet Haggai, chapter 2, verses 6 and 7, and 21 to 22 says very briefly, you can study it more and many more Scriptures also but I'm just saying very briefly, that day will destroy kingdoms with swords of one another.  There'll be destruction of kingdoms with swords of one another.  And I think we are starting to see this, these things happening recently on more and more of a scale, those things what God prophesied through Prophet Haggai.

Let's read Jeremiah chapter 30, verses 23 and 24.  It says there that a furious whirlwind will fall upon the heads of the wicked.  And God says that this applies to the last days because, "...  In the last days you shall know it."  So here we see that God's judgment is going to come at the day of the harvest as Christ was speaking about the harvest, in the end of an age.  There are many parables concerning the end of an age in the New Testament mentioned by Christ and by the apostles.  Now we are just would like to go briefly, through a very few Scriptures.  Even though there will be dozens and dozens of Scriptures speaking about the last days in the Old Testament and New.  But we are just taking a few of them to bring to our attention what is coming upon the world in the last days.

Jeremiah chapter 25, verses 30 to 38, we read following verses, "Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The Lord shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.  (That means against all the inhabitants, not just some.) A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD hath a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; (again with all flesh, with everybody) he will give them that are wicked to the sword, saith the LORD.  Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.  And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: (That's quite a big project.) they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.  Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes, ye principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished; and ye shall fall like a pleasant vessel.  And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal of the flock to escape."

So we see here that God describing what is going to take place in the last days, in the day of the harvest, in the day of God's wrath.  God mentions several times that God shall cover the whole earth against all nations and many people will be destroyed.  And He says that this will be from one end of the earth to the other.

But that's not all.  Strangely enough, it mentions here about pastors.  In my Bible it says, "Pastors, Howl, ye pastors, and cry..."  So here we see that it talks about pastors.  They'll be kind of caught up with these problems.  And their dispersion has come and they shall fall like a pleasant vessel.  My Bible it says like a "precious"  vessel.  Bible says here that shepherds shall have no way to flee.  They'll have no way to escape these things.  They'll be slaughtered.  That is a very important and very interesting and very sobering thought to think about.  That God says when He's going destroy the whole earth from one end to the other.  When He judges the earth, there'll be shepherds involved here, there'll be pastors involved, and they have a reason to cry.

Now, why such a stern judgment upon the pastors in that last days, in the day of harvest?  There must be reason behind it.  Now we read in Ezekiel chapter 34.  God gives the reason.  Verses 7 of 34 chapter and down, "Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of the LORD; As I live, saith the LORD God, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock; Therefore saith the LORD God; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.  For thus saith the LORD God: Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.  As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day."

This speaks about the last day.  In the cloudy and dark day of the Lord, in the day of judgment, in day of God's harvest, in the day of God's wrath, God is going to deal very sternly with the shepherds, my Bible says pastors, who were not feeding the flock but were feeding themselves on very fat salaries and stuff like that.  So there will be a reason for the shepherds to howl.

We read here that this judgment of God and wrath of God is going to do a mighty job in the earth, a way of cleansing and a way of judging, not only the nations, but it'll touch also the people of God.  And we have many places but I'll just mention a few where God is going to deal with them.

So chapter 24 of Isaiah says here, "Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.  And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.  The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the Lord hath spoken this word."

There's much more if you can read right to the end of the chapter.  Read chapter 24 of Isaiah from beginning.  And here my Bible says that God is going to judge, not only the people of God, but also the pastors, the priests (in your English Bible it says, "So with the priest").

So the priests and the people of God will still be around.  They will be around in those days to be judged.  Because my Bible says in New Testament that the judgment shall begin in the house of God and if the just man, the righteous man, shall barely be saved, how much more than those who do not obey the Gospel.

Here we see that there's going to be very, very drastic things happening in last days.  This will encompass the whole world.  The world wide situation is going to take place as we read from the Scriptures.  I'm going to briefly share just a few of the Scriptures but you can take your personal study and do much more on this subject of last days.

Isaiah 34, verses 1 to 4 and verse 16, the wrath of God will be on all nations.  So God again covers the whole earth, the scope of the whole earth, the whole nations will be included in it.  Now, Isaiah 33, verses 7, 8, 9 and up to 14, we read there are many different conditions of the people crying for peace and there are ambassadors of peace running around and there is no peace.  The earth is drying up and eventually it says the earth shall be burned like a thorn, it will be burned up.  So there'll be great fire of God's judgment is going to come upon the earth.  There is a question not only of the world and the peacekeeping ideas and peace searching but we see that there is a question of Christians being around still at the day of God's judgment.

It says here, Isaiah 33:14, "The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites.  Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire?  who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?"

The sinners in Zion, the Christian people who are in the church.  This Zion, we read in the New Testament, represents the church people.  And so the sinners in Zion are fearful and they're questioning who can stand this devouring fire?  who can stand this burning judgment?  And who can dwell?  And who can survive?  They're questioning now, they've got really fearful.

God Himself answers who will.  "He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; (He will not watch Television, those ones who shut their eyes from not seeing evil.) He shall dwell on high: his place of defense shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.  (And then in the end) Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off."

Here we see that God is speaking about last days and last judgments and the harvest time.  We see that God is going to clean up the earth and the Christians, churches, pastors, the people are still here and the sinners in the Zion are fearful and question when they see the judgment of God.

They were surprised.  We read that they were surprised, the hypocrites, the Christian hypocrites, there are many of them in many modern churches who are hypocrites.  They claim they have the Word of God, they claim they have God, they claim they are with Christ, they claim they are believers, they claim they are Christians and yet their life is hypocritical.  They say one thing and live the other.

So God is going to surprise hypocrites.  God is going to surprise pastors.  God is going to surprise God's people.  Because judgment shall begin from the house of God.  And here we read that this will be the real situation.

We read further on, Jeremiah 4:27, 29, you read that it says all earth shall be desolate.  The cities shall be desolate.  Cities shall be dispersed.  There'll be no people in the cities in the day of God's judgment because all earth shall be desolate.  So God's judgment is going to come upon all nations, all the earth, as God says many times in His Word.

Isaiah 2, verses 12 to 21 says day of the Lord is going to shake earth terribly.  There'll be many who will fall by the destruction.  And so we read that it is going to be very drastic cleansing, with drastic judgment of God.

Joel chapter 2, verses 1 to 10, and verses 30, and 31 it says sun and the moon will grow darker.  Stars will be falling.  There'll be drastic things happening.  When?  Before the day of the Lord.  Christians are awaiting the day of the Lord that they'll be taken with the Lord, they'll be raptured.  But before that day of the Lord we read that these drastic things are going to happen.  So pastors, Christian people, God's people are apparently going to be still around and Bible says that those things, drastic things are going to happen before the day of the Lord.  So Joel 3, chapter 3, verses 9 to 16 says sun and moon will grow dark but God will protect His people.  There is also note of hope for real God's people and that's why we are coming to the end of the message why this message is all about: "What Awaits Anabaptists in the Last Days?"  We are going to come to that from the Scripture, and I would like to share Scripture and nothing else of what is going to happen in last days.

Here we read that these drastic events, drastic catastrophes in heaven, in earth are going to happen but God will protect His people.  In Matthew, if you study chapter 24, verses 1 to 14, you would find that Christ Himself called that period "beginning of sorrows."  He calls Himself those things, He gave a name to that particular period - the end of an age.  God's harvest time, God's judgment, God's cleansing.  God calls that particular period beginning of sorrows.  After that, verses 15 to 26, God Himself, Christ Himself calls it "a great tribulation."

Then from verse 27 to verse 31, Christ Himself speaks about coming of the Lord, the day of the Lord is come.  And coming of the Lord is vividly described how it is going to take place.

So this harvest time, the judgment time, is broken down by Christ Himself into three phases.  One is beginning of sorrows.  There'll be many things happening during beginning of sorrows.  Then the second phase will be the great tribulation from verses 15 to 26.  And then the coming of the Lord, described for His elect with a trumpet, with a sound, with angels.  His coming and gathering His elect we read in verse 27 through verse 31.  It describes very clearly and not only in one gospel but in the others too.

So verse 13 says he that endures to the end shall be saved.  So there will be people who will endure to the end.  So coming of the Lord is the end.  That's end of an age.  That's finished.  That's it.  Then the new era will start, but here is the end described by Christ Himself.  Christ said, "He that endures to the end shall be saved."  So there will be people.  Yes!  By the Bible, by the Word of God of Old and New Testaments, there will be people who shall be saved.

1 Thessalonians chapter 4:15 says, "We which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord..."  So there will be people who will be alive and remain until the coming of the Lord even though there will be much judgment coming and taking place during this particular last end of an age.  So here it says, then the sequence of events.

So at what point is the end?  Verses 29 and 30 says sun and moon are going to be affected and then coming of Christ.  The first will be the sign of His coming and then His actual coming and His gathering of the elect.  Who are the elect?  We already read in the very beginning who are the saints.  Now who are the elect.  They are God's chosen people, God's elect people from all the nations.  The seed of Abraham, those who were promised to Abraham that in his name all nations of the earth shall be blessed, and he shall be father of many nations.  The Gentile people, the bride of Christ, they're the ones who are elect according to Scriptures which were given in the beginning of this message.

So if you only studied that very thoroughly, you would find here that it speaks about this same elect people at this time where the elect are at day of God's judgment.  Verse 22 answers them, verse 22 of chapter 24 (Matthew) says about elect people.

The tribulation in verse 21 describes there will be such a trouble, such a tribulation, as was never before in world history.  Such will be tribulation.  But Christ says but for elect's sake the days of the tribulation shall be shortened.

Apparently it is very clear here from Christ's words Himself that the elect are still around in verse 22, which is actually covering the period of tribulation from verse 15 to verse 26, as described by Christ Himself.

Christ says the elect are here and He says except those days should be shortened, there should be no flesh saved, but for the elect's sake, those days of tribulation shall be shortened.  So then you see, elect are still around, and alive and well.  Because I Thessalonians chapter 4:15 says, "We which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord..."  The coming of the Lord is in verse 27 to 31 but elect are still alive and well.  There'll be God's protection for the elect as we read here.  So Christ Himself described that very clearly.

Christ is the final authority on the subject of the last days and here we see that Christ describes step by step the sequence of events which are going to take place.  And as we mentioned very briefly before, from verses 1 to 14, He calls Himself beginning of sorrows.

From verses 15 to 26 He calls it, that period or that phase, the great tribulation and whatever happens there.  And then from verse 27 to verse 31, the actual signs of the coming of the Lord and then His actual coming of the Lord and gathering of His elect.

So let's just read how and when this gathering of elect will be, will take place, at what point in time in the history of the last age.  So here we read those verses.

"For as the lightening cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  For wheresoever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together.  Immediately after the tribulation of those days (not before, but after tribulation of those days) shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then (When?  Immediately after tribulation of those days) shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: (not the coming of the Lord first, but it first the sign of the Son of man) and then shall (There will be sequence of event here.  First the tribulation then immediately after tribulation moon and star and everything else, and shaking of the heavens and stuff.  Then next sequence is, then shall appear the sign of Son of man.  The next sequence is and then:) all the tribes of the earth mourn, (There'll be reason for them to mourn.  Why?  Because:) and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.  And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."  Here it is.  The gathering of elect.  Here is the rapture that the people are talking so much about.  Here is the trumpet, here are the angels, here is the voice of God that they will be gathered from four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.  When?  It says "immediately after the tribulation of those days."

A few things will take place and then final triumphant note of victory.  And that is when He shall send an angel, trumpet, and the voices, and His elect shall be gathered.  That is the sequence of events as described by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself and He is the final authority on the subject.

So therefore here just for the little comparison would like to share some things with you from the Scriptures and you see if it is correct.

Now, what took place in the Bible in the days of old was this: First God led out His people from Egypt by the hand of Moses and then after that the judgment fall upon Egypt and the plagues fall upon Egypt.  Is that O.K.  with you if I say it in that sequence?  Would you object to that?

What if I say that first Christ has came, taught the population, died, rose again, and then John the Baptist came on the scene and started preaching and doing the things he was commissioned to do.  How would you like that sequence?  How would you like if we reversed that?  Say let's take the days of Elijah.  Elijah, as you remember, he was mighty man of God, he was doing great revivals and things like that, and turning the men of Israel to God and everything like that.  And he was man of miracles and man of God's mighty wonders.

Now let's say from Scripture, if you agree with me that Elijah was raptured first, taken away to heaven, and then the famine and judgments of God came upon, and starvation and everything else, came upon the nation of Israel.  Now would you accept that kind of sequence?  All those who know Bible, they surely say that, "Brother, you are deluded.  That's not the sequence, that's not the way it is."

So therefore if God Himself describes that first was the judgment of Egypt.  And the people of God were right there in judgment but they were protected.  And then they were led out.  So that's the sequence of God in the Word.

Same with John the Baptist.  First John the Baptist has come and then the Christ.  That's the sequence of the Scripture.  So then first Elijah had to go through all the revivals and then there was judgment pronounced upon the earth and there famine and starvation and destruction in the land.  And Elijah at that time, he had no more revivals going on, he had no more work of the Lord to be done at that time he just kept quiet.  He sat down by the brook, ate bread and drunk water.  That was the way and the will of God.  The judgment first and then after that we see that Elijah was raptured.

So then here we see how God's tells us the sequence of events.  Therefore if you check all the Prophets, if you check Christ's sequence of events as described in Gospels.  If you check as apostle Paul understood it, this sequence of events, then you will see clearly that great days are coming upon the world.  And the great days are awaiting the whole Christian world as such.  And whether we like it or not, the judgment shall begin from the house of God.

If the righteous shall be barely saved, so what will it be like to those who do not obey the Gospel?  The sinners in the Zion, those who are at ease in Zion, those who are taking it easy today, what will it be with them?

So here we see the sequence as apostle Paul says.  Our gathering to Christ, the day of Christ, the coming of Christ shall not take place until first two things will happen, and that is:

Number one, the falling away first, and then the son of wickedness shall be revealed.  The day of Christ will not come until those two things will happen.  And the son of the wickedness, son of perdition will be revealed during the tribulation and not before.

So we see that the sequence of events.  Apostle Paul, from the Holy Spirit of God, knew the sequence of events.  And so if you read Revelation, right from beginning to the end, you would find the sequence of events there too.

Of course I have to realize that all the modern churches have been teaching for over a hundred years about the rapture, that it'll take place before tribulation.  And the church, the bride of Christ, the church will be raptured secretly, silently before the tribulation.  And as they claim it, she will be raptured in the sequence of events in chapter 4 of Revelation when John on the isle of Patmos was dealing with God and God was dealing with him and he was in the spirit.

In chapter 4, the first four verses you read that he was taken into heaven and he saw the throne and stuff like that.  So modern churches and Christians claim that that's the timing in Revelation when the church of God will be raptured like John was raptured or taken into heaven and was before the throne of God.

So they claim that way and I, of course, I love all the Christian people and I do not judge any of them or anybody of them, I do not judge pastors and I do not run them down and I do not mock them.  But I just wanted to compare if that is correct.

We spoke with many pastors in modern churches and many Christians as we ministered among the modern churches in previous years.  And I have put out quite a few questions to them about this last days.  And I'll just mention a few questions here about this particular situation.

The question which I put out to them was this.  If bride goes away or gets raptured in chapter 4 in Revelation, then which bride is getting herself ready to go to the marriage supper of the Lamb in chapter 19, verse 7?  Which one is that?

There is only two possibilities.  Either there are two different brides, one in chapter 4 as the modern churches claim, she'll be raptured and go to the marriage supper of the Lamb, and then another one is just getting ready in chapter 19 of Revelation which is after tribulation.  The tribulation has already gone through, all the judgments of God has gone through, and in chapter 19, verse 7, she's just getting ready to enter in to the marriage supper of the Lamb.

So one possibility is either Christ will have two different brides, one in chapter 4, one in chapter 19, and both will go to separate marriages of the Lamb.

That is like Christ getting married twice on two different occasions; He will have two different wives so to speak.  Or, Christ marries twice to one and the same bride.  He will marry one in chapter 4 as they claim, and another one He will marry, or will be having a marriage supper at chapter 19, verse seven.  And that question is very valid one and they should answer it from the Scriptures.

So the Lord's coming will be as a thief in the night.  Bible speaks about it.  And as they claim it'll be very silent.  Gathering of the elect will be very silent, very secret, nobody knows even though we read that the coming of the Son of man will be "...as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall the coming of the Son of man be."  (Matthew 24:27)

So publicly, so demonstratively.  So in spite of that they claim that He will come secretly as a thief in the night and snatch the bride away in chapter 4.  Then my Bible, in my old-fashioned Russian Bible, has a another verse which may not be in English Bible.  And that is in chapter 16 of Revelation verse 15 Christ is still saying, "Behold, I come as a thief."  He didn't come yet, "I'm coming yet", He said, "and blessed is the one who are keeping his garments pure."  Now then I was wondering will there be two thieves in the night, one in chapter 4 and one in chapter 16, is that the case?

In the beginning of the message I gave you many portions of Scripture about who are the elect and they are the Gentiles if you read the Scriptures thoroughly.  And who are the Saints?  They are the Gentile nation promised to Abraham, Abraham's seed, the people who are Abraham's seed by faith.  So then those are the saints.

The question arises also, speaking about last days, if the saints are gone in chapter 4, raptured away by Christ as modern churches are claiming for over hundred years now, (and millions people believe that) so then which saints are in chapter 13, verse 7 when the beast is on the scene.

The tribulation has started and the big troubles are started all over the world and big problems are described in the world wide problem that is described in chapter 13 of Revelation.  Which saints are there yet with whom Beast is having a war?  Which ones are they if they're all gone in chapter 4 of Revelation?

So here it is.  There are many questions, actually I have about eighteen questions for the modern churches and I gave it in writing to pastors and they did not send me even one answer from the Scripture to prove that those questions could be answered if they keep this idea or theology about bride being taken away or raptured in chapter 4 and that is before tribulation as they claim.  I do not judge their understanding.  I do not judge them at all.  But we just discuss this.  When we were younger, when we had just come to Australia, we saw a couple films about rapture and things like that, how it will be like before the judgment and everything.  Then we read some books written about how church will be raptured before the tribulation.  There were many books written on that.

I was puzzled because when I was young we have heard from the Holy Spirit that God was warning our people to be prayerful and watching because the great tribulation is coming and it'll catch many people unaware, many people will be surprised that the Great Tribulation will come upon the Christians.  I was confused.  How come?

The books, and the modern theology, and evangelists and pastors from the Bible School say that they will be raptured before the tribulation.  They will not see any judgments at all and yet Holy Spirit was saying that there will be judgment.  God will judge His people, and He will purify, He'll cleanse them.  He will purify the chaff from the wheat, and the tares will be completely separate because there is much tares in the church apparently.

So I was confused only until God punished us several times and God told us to study the Scriptures and to pray and to seek His face.  Only then, when I searched the Scriptures, I found out from the Holy Spirit, revelation of the Holy Spirit about the coming tribulation and the judgment of God which will come upon the church to purify it and get her ready, that was same one as the Scripture taught from the Prophets, from Christ, from apostles, and from the Revelation.

They all believe the same teaching and that is that the judgment shall begin from the house of God.  And God's elect shall be gathered, but not before tribulation.  Immediately after tribulation of those days God will send angels and trumpets and voices and many wonderful things and God will send and gather His elect after the tribulation of those days.  The elect are still around but they are protected because God says, (Matthew 24:22) "And except the days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake (which are still on earth) those days shall be shortened."

Yes!  that's another subject, how many days will the tribulation be.  It's all described in Bible in Old and New Testament.

So this what I like to share, dear brethren, what is going to happen in the last days.  It's a very big subject.  And we share that a lot among our Slavic population.  This is very brief.

We are talking about the subject, "What Awaits the Anabaptists in the Last Days?"  I don't have anything against theology.  I don't have anything against any modern churches.  I have nothing against Anabaptist people or anybody.  I'm just encouraging the Anabaptist people to really fulfill the commands of Jesus Christ who has given commandments for the last days and we will come to them very shortly.  If they'll search the Scriptures and find out (whether they like it or not) the judgment of God.  The purification, the cleansing, and the tribulation will catch everybody as a snare.  It'll come upon the whole face of the earth as a snare as Christ said.

I was surprised as to why in the whole modern world of America, I never heard even one message or one book actually about last days as the Holy Spirit revealed the sequence of events, what comes after what.  But recently I came across, accidentally, one book which was printed by an American pastor who was forty years preaching pre-tribulation rapture.  That they will be raptured in a secret, silent rapture, unknown to the world and nobody will see, nobody will hear anything, there will be no noise, no signs in the heavens, there will just be a secret rapture.

And then he claims in the book that he started to diligently search and see the lukewarmness of the churches, and to see how this theory brought very negative results in the church.  He started to search the Scriptures and to his amazement he found out the real picture.  That the church will go through tribulation.  And then he writes in his book very interesting thing, very interesting statement.  And I'm going to read it to you and then you see what you think of this statement that's from his book.

He says: "A love gift of ten thousand dollars awaits the first person for even one Scripture that tells us that the church will be raptured before the great tribulation.  There is none.  A letter has been sent to about forty thousand fundamental preachers offering a love gift initially of one hundred thousand dollars for such a Scripture.  None has been given."

He did not receive even one letter from any of those forty thousand fundamental preachers, preaching the pre-tribulation rapture.  That's an amazing fact to me and that was very also very interesting thing that the brother came to the realization that Christ's sequence of events is true.

He researched history to find out how this pre-tribulation picture started and the theology surrounding it that went into Bible schools.

It happened to be that one fifteen-year old girl in Scotland supposedly had seen a vision of this pre-tribulation rapture.  That the church will be taken out from the world before judgment and before the tribulation.  And then she related that vision to some Bible Schools there, some brethren in England.  And then it got to some fellow by the name Darby who was a teaching in Bible School.  Then it finally came to Scofield who picked up the doctrine of this particular teaching and before you know, he introduced it into Bible commentary and Bible schools.  And then it took root all over the world.  It's amazing how it worked.

But this brother's eyes got opened and he offers ten thousand dollars - that's still a current offer if anybody is willing to give at least one Scripture to this brother.  He is offering ten thousand dollars still to anyone who will show one Scripture as a sequence of events that tells that the church will be raptured before the great tribulation.  He claims there is none.  And I couldn't find one also from the teaching of Christ or from apostle Paul's writings or from Revelation of John.

I couldn't find that the saints will be raptured, saints are right in the middle of it, saints will be having war with the beast and all that.  And then we read that there'll be many, many big troubles going on and there will be saints who will be protected and saved by the Lord.  So we share these things, brethren, with one view and that is to awaken the Anabaptist people to mighty prayers, to seeking of the Lord's face.  Because the great days are coming and they're closer than we think.  There will be many people surprised unless they wake up and start really seeking the face of God and asking for God's protection.

So here we see the sequence of events.  First, it'll be political and economical unity and then it'll be religious unity.  Second beast will have lamb's horns, first beast will have just ordinary horns.  The second beast will have lamb's horns which will be portraying the religious humbleness and so on.  But it'll be bringing religious unity.  And all those who will not be willing to join that world wide religious unity or to accept it, they will be sure problems are waiting ahead.

What is going to happen to Christian men and women?  It will happen according to the gospel of Luke and that is Christ's personal Word.  What is going to happen to those many people who will be caught by surprise, without thinking or without being warned and without actually having taken time to search the Scriptures and to find out from the Will of God and from the Spirit of God the actual sequence of events.

So here we see what is going to happen.  And Christ is talking about last days Himself.  Luke chapter 21 verse 34, "And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.  For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth."

That is going to happen to many millions of Christians that it will come as a snare because snare comes suddenly, unexpectedly.  People will get surprised and it will come like a snare upon all of them that dwell upon the face of the earth.  Unbelievers as well as believers.  Because we read that from the Prophets and from Christ the sequence of events that it's going to happen exactly like that.  But of course there is also a way out which I am going to share shortly.

I just wanted to share with you some happenings in China.  And what happened when hard times came, when the new authority came into power and they started confiscating properties, started killing and started persecution.  A big church, close to 500 members, was there which God brought by His own power into being.

As you recall the first group was led out just before 1948 and then there was a few people left, maybe about 50 families.  Within a couple of years of preaching by those few families and by virtue of great trials and troubles in China, many people came to the Lord and church was filled to 500 capacity or more.

In that city was also a group of Baptist people and, of course, they also called themselves Christians.  And we had nothing against them.  When God was telling our people what will come to China and what will be and how hard it'll be but God will be faithful to deliver them into free country of milk and honey as God promised even before the new government came into force.

All those things filtered out to the general population and so Baptists knew that.  But of course, majority of the Baptists mocked that.  The majority of Baptists rejected the Holy Spirit experiences as described in the Bible.  They laughed at it and they said, "This is all from the devil.  This is not for us.  We already have the Holy Spirit.  And we don't have to pray for it, we don't have to ask the Holy Spirit, we don't have to prophesy."  And things like that.  So they were mocking, the majority of them.

But there were a few Baptist ladies who were coming to our sisters and they were asking, "Now tell us what God is saying.  Now the hard times have come and there is great destruction coming in China, there is shooting and killing and confiscating of properties.  What is going to happen to us?  What is going to be?"

And our sisters shared, "All those who will pray, all those who will believe the Holy Ghost, all those who believe the voice of God, they will be led out to a country of milk and honey.  And all those who do not believe, who do not want to pray, who do not want to seek God's face and God's help, they will be taken to Russia and many of them will perish."

Quite a few Baptist ladies they believed the Word of God because it was shown from the Word of God that Christian people of all ages that the promise of the Holy Spirit and God's guidance and God's speaking was to them.  So they talked to their husbands and eventually quite a few, not many, but a quite a few Baptist people started attending our meetings and finally God also baptized them with the Holy Spirit and they entered into blessing of the Lord, of the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.  And God, to some of them, gave a spirit of prophecy.

When there was no change of authority, when life was free and good and plentiful, they were very boastful the majority of them and especially the ministers, they were very boastful.  They were running our people down and mocking them and calling them names for their mighty prayers that were carrying on daily and nightly.

But when the hard times came, these dear people and ministers themselves gave in and they took the red banner of communism, and hung it right above the pulpit.  And they put Stalin portrait and Lenin portrait right above the pulpit and they said that, "They are our helpers, they're our leaders."  And they compromised and they got fearful because the persecution and pressure started.

Our brethren refused to do that, they refused to compromise.  And several brethren went into prison.  And God said that everyone of them will be delivered safely into the free world.

Everyone of our people, everyone from the church, was literally delivered to country of milk and honey.  The brethren from prison came out safe and well even though they had lots of hardship and beatings and stuff like that, but God preserved them and protected them and He delivered them out of the prisons and they all are in the free world now.

And yet, the whole group, it was quite a sizable, probably close to a hundred people, a hundred members of the Baptist congregation, every one of them had to take red passports of Communists and they were all taken to Russia.  And many of them actually perished there because some of them committed suicide because it was an unbearable life and especially young people.  There were some letters which came in after 1954 and so on.

They had no power to withstand the pressures and they gave in and they took a banner and put a banner above the pulpit, right in the church, in front of the church and the portrait of Lenin and Stalin and their symbols they took upon themselves.  And eventually these two ministers led the whole group into Russia, - taken away.

It was exactly fulfilled as God said to us that they will go.  God will judge them because they mock the Holy Spirit and His work.  But those few families who have repented of this, who did not join in mocking and laughing at the Holy Spirit and the spirit of prophecy, they have joined this evangelical church and every one of them has come out to the free world.  And their children are reaping the blessings of the Lord now in this free world because they were delivered same as some Egyptians were delivered with Israelites when they believed the Israelite's God and His mighty power and His mighty leading.

So we have some similar experiences with dear Baptist people.  We have nothing against Baptist people, or any people, for that matter.  We love them all by the love of God and we wish them to search the Scriptures and to find out that God, Jesus Christ said, "All those who believe in my name, the signs shall follow."  (Mark 16:17)

You read that in Mark the last chapter that all those who believe, they shall have the signs following.  So one of the signs is that when people of God, the apostles have actually tasted the fulfillment of God, Christ's promise that Holy Spirit when He comes, He will come and He will manifest the spiritual manifestation and there are nine supernatural manifestations of the Holy Spirit and one of them is spirit of prophecy.

Apostle Paul says people of God, the church of God, should strive for spiritual gifts, but he says, especially that you may prophesy.  Apostle Paul expresses same idea as Moses.  "I wish that all the people of God were prophets when Holy Spirit will come upon them."  So we see that when apostles received the Holy Spirit, they had supernatural manifestations.  Apostle Peter was a prophet as well as an apostle.  And he also had miraculous gift of the healing.  Because he said (Acts 3:6), "Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk."  And the man leaped.  He was healed.  Why?  Because apostle Peter was not only apostle.  But he had a supernatural gift of healing which is one of the nine supernatural gifts.

So my prayer is that Lord would raise up many groups and many churches, that God would start a real revival among America groups all over the place, among Baptist groups, among Anabaptist groups.  That the real Bible-like revival will take place with Bible-like results.  That God's people will see the divine manifestation of the Holy Spirit, and especially that God will raise up prophets of God who will be the eyes of the church.  And that is very critical especially in the last days.  This is a very late hour and God's people as never before need God's presence, need a living God talking to them.

That was possible through all the centuries, through the prophets of Old.  They had the Spirit of Christ in them as we have read and the Spirit of Christ in them prophesied through them.  Not only the local things, not only the things of exhortation, of comfort, or of rebuke to local nation or the kings or whoever, but the same Holy Spirit predicted the suffering of Christ, and His teaching, and His life ministry, and His glory, all that was predicted by the Spirit of Christ in the prophet which they had.

The same Spirit of Christ the apostles received.  And apostle Peter was able then to be led by the same Spirit because the same Spirit told him when he was on the rooftop, "Come down and go with those men and share the message."  The same Spirit of Christ in Apostle Paul was working mightily because he was a prophet of God.

John the Baptist (the real Baptist in the Bible is John the Baptist), he was filled with the Holy Spirit from his mother's womb.  And not only was he filled with the Holy Spirit, he was the mightiest prophet of all the ages as Christ told to His disciples.  But he was the one who said, "I indeed baptize you with water...  but he that cometh after me...  he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire."  (Matthew 3:11) So you see, that's John the Baptist - he was directing all his listeners to Jesus Christ who is the real baptizer with the Holy Spirit and fire.

So if the authority of the Bible means anything to us at all, or the authority of words of Jesus Christ do have any value to us, or if we believe Jesus Christ at all, then His words must be true and then we should be able to search this out from the Scriptures and ponder what is this all about, the fire.  What this has to do with baptizing people of God with Holy Ghost and fire, what does it mean?

Right through the Scriptures we would notice if we search it out.  I'll just mention a few Scriptures just to point out for your attention.  God designed this question of fire to be part of the package of His abiding mighty presence.  That people can not only hear God speaking in them through the spirit of prophecy, through the gift of prophecy, but also they could sense that fire which was burning in them.  That is part and package of God's dealing with God's people.

That's His way and He is Master and we are just servants so we have no choice here, either we have to believe what Christ said or disbelieve it and just leave it alone.

If you remember Moses had contact with God's fire.  As a matter of fact was met with fire of God quite often.  For example, we read in relation to God's people being led through the wilderness from Egypt.

Exodus chapter 13, verse 21 and 22: "And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people."

So here we see that people of God were led by cloud at daytime and by fire, pillar of fire or cloud of fire at night.  So it appears to be that it was something supernatural in relation to the people of God.  When we read in Isaiah 63, here in my Russian Bible it says, verse 14, "As the flock comes down into the valley, so the Holy Spirit of God led them to their rest.  So you have led thy people, O LORD, in order to make yourself a glorious name."

My Bible says that Holy Spirit of God led them to rest.  So it appears then in Exodus we read that pillar of fire led them but here we read then that the Holy Spirit led them.  Holy Spirit of God led them to rest.  So we read here not only did Moses experience this business of fire, but also many men of God have experienced that.

Elijah was a very fiery evangelist, if you remember, and he was dealing with fire a lot.  And also prophet Isaiah, chapter 6, he dealt with fire.  And he was actually empowered by fire of God when the fire touched his lips.  When he encountered God and his servants, he was empowered for ministry.  And so Isaiah was a prophet.

The Spirit of Christ was in him as we read there in epistle of Peter.  He says that the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ, was and is in the prophets, to prophesy of all the things about Christ.  His suffering and His glory and so on, and it was searching out for many other future things.  So we see that Isaiah was a man known to deal with fire and that is with Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost.

Jeremiah 20, verse 9.  In the beginning when God called Jeremiah in chapter 1, He said that He baptized him or filled him with the Holy Ghost even from his mother's womb.  Same thing happened with John the Baptist.  He was filled with the Holy Spirit from his mother's womb.  He was the mightiest man of God as Christ testified.  So Jeremiah here says Spirit of Christ was with him.  We read how this fire was in Jeremiah and how He was active.  Jeremiah chapter 20, verse 9 says, we should read verse 8 actually to make sense why he objected in verse 9, "For since I spake, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach to me, and a derision daily."

He was a prophet of God.  He was prophesying judgment of God and the punishment of God upon Israel and they did not repent.  He prophesied for many years and they called him false prophet, they didn't accept him, they said this is not from the Lord and all that stuff.  So he was really being reproached and he was in derision daily.

Then in verse 9 Jeremiah says about himself, "Then I said, I will not make mention of him (that's of God), nor speak any more in his name.  But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay."

In my Bible it says he could not hold it.  He had to speak again because that Holy Spirit fire was in him.  He was a prophet of God and he had to speak the message of truth, message of rebuke, message of exhortation, message of edification, message of rebuke and message of repentance to Israelites.  Because the Holy Spirit being a fire he has compelled him to do that.

We see from these Scriptures and many others, if you search out the subject, the Holy Spirit is always connected with fire.  And now, did not God say about Himself that He is a fire, He's a consuming fire?  Did not God say that about Himself?  Yes!  And God being in trinity - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.  So Christ knew what He was talking about that He will be desiring for that fire to come down.

In Luke chapter 12, verse 49 in my Russian Bible, Christ said, "I have come down to bring fire on this earth.  And how I thirst, how I eagerly wait that fire become a flame."  Christ was speaking what He was desiring for that fire of God, the Holy Spirit, to fall upon His people that then the work of the Lord will be done in the earth.  So, and this is why John the Baptist, being the prophet of God, being the man filled with the Holy Spirit from the womb, he said that, "I baptize you with water, but He will baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire."

We spoke about Christ and His ministry on earth and also about John the Baptist and what he spoke about Christ.  Christ said he desired that fire will become a flame, how he was desirous of that and He came down specifically for one mission.  Not only to preach the Gospel, but also, as He said, to bring the fire down and He desires it very much that He will become a flame.

We see that the fulfillment of Christ's desire was taking place in Acts, chapter 2.  The literal fulfillment because we read in that chapter that there were fireballs and fiery tongues came down on the apostles.  The Holy Spirit baptism took place.  The fulfillment of Christ's desire and Christ's plan on earth was starting to take place.  This baptism of the Holy Spirit was spreading because Apostle Peter in his first sermon, when five thousand came to the Lord, preached first repent, secondly get baptized, and then thirdly - that ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, which belongs not only to you, but to all those far off whom God shall call.

So if anybody in modern churches of America claim that they are called of God then that promise is unto them because Christ said that when the Comforter shall come, the Holy Spirit, He will teach you of all things of what I said and He will tell you of the things to come.

Jesus said to the disciples that this Comforter, this Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit, this fire is with them but He will be in them.  But the world does not know it because world cannot see it.

Praise God for God's program of God's mighty manifestation of the Holy Spirit which was going through all the ages working mighty works of God and doing the plan of God way back from Abraham and Moses and on through all the prophets, into Christ's days and apostle days - right through the centuries - through Waldensians- those people who had been on fire for God.  Yes!  The Anabaptist people who had been on fire for God, they were fiery evangelists with Bible-type results.

Right on through this generation through Russia, through Ukraine, through Indonesia, through South America.  God's fire is carrying on and God's plan is still being worked in this land whether people believe it or not.

As always you would notice that people of God, even apostles, and the very first fulfillment of Christ's promise to apostles, immediately Satan wanted to mock and laugh at this manifestation of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

So this was the true thing all along on the true children of God.  Of course here we have to interject and make a distinction between the real experience, Bible type-experience, and the experience which some people claim that they have.  Of course, I heard so much about this in America, especially, and Canada as we traveled and ministered among different modern churches and I heard about this Charismatic movement and all those things and there is so much commotion and so much stressing about tongues and prophecy and those things and the Holy Spirit and everything.  There is so much talk about it!

Well, I do not judge those people, I do not condemn them, but we discussed this many times with them.  I questioned them in the light of the scriptures.  I compared the result and I said, "Look, if we claim, and you people claim, that you have the baptism of the Holy Ghost and you have the real manifestation of the Holy Spirit then the question comes, how come that Holy Spirit, which Christ said what He will send, He will rebuke sin, He will speak of righteousness, and He will speak of judgment."

"Now, how come you claim that so many churches have the Holy Spirit and the manifestation of the Holy Spirit supposedly, but how come there is so much sin in the church?  So much sin in lives?  There is harlotry, there is divorce going on, the boyfriend/girlfriend business is rampant and adultery is going on steady."

So I question them.  "How come that there are so many Jezebels painted up for seduction of young people and so many curly, beautiful girls painted up so that the image of this world with the short hairs cut off and all that?  How come all this corruption of the world and the abomination of this world is in the church, and how come the Holy Spirit does not rebuke of sin?  Because Christ said He will."

The real Holy Spirit will first rebuke of sin, then He will teach people and speak to them about righteousness.  How to live a righteous, holy life.  And then third - if people don't obey the rebukes and instruction and the admonition and edification's of the Holy Spirit, then the judgment.

That's how it was in my Bible, in my old fashion Russian Bible.  That's how it describes the Holy Spirit work all through the centuries way back through Old Testament.  That's how Holy Spirit worked.  He always rebuked of sins, never, never under any circumstances did the real work of the Holy Ghost cover sin or look lightly on sin.  Because God is just God, God is a righteous God and He cannot tolerate sin in the camp at all.  Do you remember the sin in Israel?  The one man sinned and God's presence departed from the whole camp!

Now, how come there is so much sin and corruption in your churches and the Holy Spirit doesn't seem to bother!  What is going on?  Why is there so much commotion about supposedly manifestation of the Holy Spirit that you talk about?

So then, I questioned those things and said, "Look at this - the Holy Spirit, Christ said, that when He comes, He will teach you of all things that I told you and He will tell you of the things to come.  So then, what is Holy Spirit teaching you?  Now, why you are despising and do not fulfill the commandment of the washing of the saints feet?  Christ taught that to His disciples - He said blessed are ye when you do those things.  How come the Holy Spirit doesn't teach you to do those things?  How come you hate washing each others feet now?"

"And what about the holy supper?  And the approach to eat?  How reverent a man should approach that being a body of Christ, a sanctified holy body of Christ.  Now how come?  How come people stamp on that bread and smoke.  They take of the bread and they throw it on the ground and everybody takes and smokes and participates in it and throws it on the floor and stamps on it.  How come all those things?  "

And many other things I question them.  "Why the Holy Spirit doesn't teach you all those things?  Why the Holy Spirit doesn't teach your ladies to cover their total nakedness?  Why, the Holy Spirit, even though that was commanded of Christ, and Christ we read, He was very modest.  He showed us as an example we should follow in His footsteps.  Now, how come the Holy Spirit does not teach you modesty?  Teach modesty to your girls?  Why?  They have been showing, exposing them sexy legs, tempting young men, and even grown up men into sin of adultery."

"Now, how come the Holy Spirit does not teach if He is really working among you?  Why does He not rebuke sin?  Why does He not rebuke all those ladies who put men's pants on themselves and they are walking in abomination?  As God said that it is an abomination when the woman takes a man's garments on herself.  How come?"

' There are many things that I questioned about.  Then I said, "You better read Bible and find out what the real work of the Holy Spirit is.  How come He does not speak of righteousness, how to live a holy life?  That the world is in the church and church is in the world?  And your people in the church, they drink, some of them smoke, people in church can sue each other, people of church go to war, people take arms, and many other things - there are questions on those and many other subjects on the Scripture, how come the Holy Spirit does not teach you those things?"

So then, this is a real situation that has to be faced.  "How come the Holy Spirit never judges any of you in the churches?  When we read that Holy Spirit always judged, punished for sin, in the Old Testament and in New."

Remember the case of Ananias and Sapphira - they didn't do much, they didn't kill anybody, but they just said a lie.  A small lie!  It wasn't a total lie because they took some of the money to themselves and most of the money they gave.  Now it was just a little lie only, they lied about a little matter.  But what happened?  Because there was real Holy Spirit, and real Holy Spirit, the spirit of prophecy and spirit of the word of knowledge the gift of the word of knowledge and Peter, by the word of knowledge being a prophet, he knew what Ananias and Sapphira did.  And he said, "How come you agreed to lie to the Holy Spirit?"

They did not lie to Peter, they did not lie to people, the lied to the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit was present with His personality, with His person, He was right in the midst of the apostolic church.  That, brethren, is what I am talking about.

If the real Holy Spirit is in the midst of God's church, that is real apostolic church, the authority of the Word will be there because Christ Word would have been fulfilled and then nobody could lie to the Holy Spirit.  Nobody could do anything because we read that the fear was upon every soul.

People were added to the church daily, we read, because why?  Because the mighty work of the Holy Spirit, the convicting work of the Holy Spirit was taking place because that was a real Bible-type revival.  The apostles had experienced real Bible-type experience of baptism of Holy Ghost.  Why am I using the word baptism?  Because Christ said "that John baptized you with water but after several days, you shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost."  I am using Christ's term even though people can use some other terms like second blessing or third blessing or whatever, second work of grace, whatever else they can use, I don't mind.  I don't judge anybody in that respect, but I'm using the literal, Biblical term - the baptism of the Holy Ghost.

The disciples were baptized with the Holy Ghost and then they had the signs following which Christ predicted they will have in Mark 16:16.

So you read those things and its Word of God.  I'm not sharing with you anything else but the Word of God.  And so here, then we should differentiate between the real dollar and the false dollar.  Between the real work of God and the fake work of God - and again I'm saying I'm not judging any of those dear people who are in America or in the churches.  I pray for them and talk with them whenever I have an opportunity and I call them to repentance because God called us to repentance.  God called everybody to repentance from evil things, from the things of this world, from corruption of the flesh, from lusts of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.

And so all those things have to be done because God's order is unchangeable.  First - repentance, as Peter said, repent.  Second - get baptized, and third - then you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost which is not only unto you, and your children, but unto all those afar off, whom God shall call.  That is future, that is us.  That is the future generation after apostolic days.

So the apostolic church never ceased through the centuries, even though it was always persecuted, always being mocked, and is being mocked today even.  And so apostolic church in Indonesia was mocked and misrepresented and called the devil and all that and apostolic church in Russia was misrepresented and called the devil and everything else.  But God was doing His work according to the Scripture, according to the promise which was we find in Bible.  That Christ, Himself, Would send the comforter and you shall be baptized in the Holy Ghost with signs following.

So then, we see that those things took place with apostles, those things took place with the men of old, those things took place with Waldensians, those things took place with Anabaptists in fifteenth century.

They were on fire for God, they were fiery evangelists, they had Holy Ghost in them, because results show that.  And if the reports were not carried through faithfully that's another question, but by the results we can know that they had the Holy Ghost in them with manifestations.

As I shared there were groups who believed in the guidance of the Holy Spirit, there were prophets among Anabaptist.  It doesn't matter what name, what nationality we ought to come back to the Bible.  To simplicity of the Word of God - to faith in the living Word of God, to faith in the living promises that they are for us today.

Why?  Because Christ did not change.  We read, we quote that, "Christ is the same, yesterday, today, and forever."  If He was and is and will be then He better be proven in our lives and in our behavior, as a holy, righteous, people of God on fire for the Lord.

Being full of the Holy Ghost, baptized with the Biblical baptism as described in the Acts of Apostles, chapter 2 and other chapters where you read Gentile people had the baptism of the Holy Ghost.  They had the supernatural manifestation of the twelve gifts of the Holy Ghost which are described in chapter 12 of I Corinthians.

Chapter 14 of I Corinthians explains so much.  There's a full chapter dedicated specifically to the operation of divine gifts of the Holy Ghost.  I'm not sharing with you anything else but the true, pure, unadulterated Word of God that people of God as never before need this baptism of the Holy Spirit.

The hour is coming when the people of God will be very sorry that they did not have the divine Holy Spirit in them operating and working and leading.  They will be very sorry they did not have prophets among them who will prophesy from the Spirit of God with a fire burning in their heart, will prophesy from the Spirit of God.  The things that are, what will be, and the dangers which are coming and the way to escape those dangers, escape those tribulations.

Christ said, Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.  My Bible says, future tribulations.  So then this is what people of God need as never before.

We had opportunity to discuss with Baptist people in China and even in Australia, and some in Canada.  With those dear friends we discussed many subjects and they seem to stress so much on born again experience and about water baptism and stuff like that.  But they don't have the faintest idea what this is all about from the scriptures because they never experienced it.

So, it will be something like this, and again I'm saying, we do not judge anybody, we do not judge Baptists, or whoever else, and God is our judge, so therefore we maybe show this in like a physical example.  Christianity is something like a car with all the manual and instructions about the car and everything.  Many Christians could be like that.  They only have the manual, they believe in manual, and that's as far as they go.  They never have a car!  They have a car manual, and they say, we believe we have it, we know all about car and everything.

There are many Christians who believe in Bible, and they carry it around.  They claim Bible, they quote Bible this and that but they never have actually experienced what Bible is all about.

It's like a car.  A car can go, you can really actually go in a car.  So, without car there's no motion, there's no results happening.  But some people they have manual and they quote it, they read it, they study it, and they know it maybe off by heart.

Some of the people like, we say the Baptist people, the dear friends of ours, they think that the Christianity that's all it is.  They think all there is to car is radiator.  If they found water with radiator, they say that's all there is to a car - that's all you need to have a car work.  So they talk about very much about water baptism and born again.  Water baptism, born again.

Sometimes, it feels like they wore out this theology of water baptism and born again experience without knowing what it all talks about and what Christianity is all about, fully from the word of God.  So, they claim that all there is to the car is that they found the radiator and there is water in it that's sufficient, that's all.  But then the car doesn't go!

That is not what the car is all about.  There is more to it - there is an engine.  It may have an engine, but they talk about radiator, radiator, and that's all they think, water, water, water!

But the thing is that doesn't give the results of the real, Bible type work of God and real Bible-type experience which Christ has promised for all those who believe in His name.

So therefore, there is more to it.  Yes!  So if the dear friend Baptist, if they only knew about this car, which you can have manual on, you can have radiator and water in it.  You can have engine in it and everything; but it's there, it's stationary, it's dead, it's not moving.  There are no results happening, nothing taking place.

Why?  Because there is no fire in the engine.  It has to be an external thing, it has to be an external thing that the divine gasoline ignited by God's fire that it will start the motor and move the car.  Then the water of course, water is needed to cool off the engine, that's to keep the balance, it's as simple as that.  So, the water is needed.  Yes!  It's part of the package of Christianity, but the water and radiator is not all.  Engine is not all.  You can have engine, you can have manual, that's not all.

You need external power.  You need that fire of gasoline to ignite and to really become fire, literal fire so that car will start moving and the results will take place.  It will take you someplace, then you can get some results.

So this is what Christianity is all about.  People of God, dear people of God, need that fire of God which Christ said "I have come down from heaven to bring a fire on this earth, and how I desire that this fire become a flame."

He knew that this will not take place before the day of Pentecost.  He knew that with God everything has time because we read that He told about Holy Spirit during the feast day.  John chapter 7 verses 37 and 38.  "In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.  He that believeth on me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."

We read there further that He spoke of the Spirit which believers ought to receive but they had not received yet because He was not glorified.

So what took place?  Sure, there were many believers already.  The apostles were believers, they were genuine, converted believers.  They were repentant believers.  They went through the radiator business of water.  They'd been baptized with the water.

Sure, they had gone through all the education.  They forsook all, they followed Christ.  There were many other people who believed on Christ, but the Holy Spirit as Christ said was not in them yet.

Why?  Because Christ said, He is with you now, but He will be in you.  It had to do with Christ dying on the cross.  He had to bring that redemption and shed His blood for redemption for sin, or forgiveness of our sins.

In order to really get us in total plan of God, and only then can that event take place as on the fifteenth day after Christ's ascension.  It has to be completely in line with Biblical principles of the feasts.  It had to be not sooner, or not later, but on that day of Pentecost because it was plan of God that way.

So then the Holy Spirit which was with the apostles all along, He became in them when they were baptized with the Holy Spirit and fire.  And that same Peter who was so chickened out before the maidservant while the Christ was on trial, the same Peter who denied Christ and he swore that he don't know Him.  (I don't know what you are talking about and all those things) That same Peter being full of that divine gasoline, divine power of God, ignited by fire, that engine just moved on.

That engine did the work of the Lord because people of God need an external thing, people of God need the external power which is beyond the human power.  Peter needed Holy Ghost to really do the work of the Lord and we see the results of how He did it.

So therefore, brothers and sisters that is why we share with many modern churches in America, that is why I wanted to share with you, that we should differentiate between the real work of the Holy Spirit and the one which people claim is the work of the Holy Spirit.

Again, I do not judge anybody.  I do not judge charismatics, may God help them, and may Lord bless them and help them to repent and really enter in to the real experience of biblical experience of the work of the Holy Spirit and Holy Spirit manifestation.

So, I spoke and asked many brethren in the modern churches what does Holy Spirit tell you?  What is awaiting this world?  What is coming to America?  What will happen to you as a Christian?  Do you know?  What does the Holy Spirit tell you of future things?

And they said, "Well!  Uh!  We uh, we are not sure.  There is nothing much and we don't hear anything about what will happen to America.  We know we'll be raptured and that's all, and we know that from the Word of God."

They carry on supposedly enjoying their manifestation of God and stuff like that.  But I said, "How come?"  Christ said that when the Holy Spirit will come He will tell you of the things to come.  He did in apostolic days; He did in the Old Testament days.  He always did because that's part and parcel of His work.  Not only to exhort, not only to instruct, not only to rebuke, but also to tell of the things to come.  That's why apostle Paul said, through the Holy Spirit, prophecy is given for exhortation, for instruction, for correction, and all that.  But it's much more than that also.  We read that from the Word of God.  That's not all what the Holy Spirit did in the Old Testament and in New.  Holy Spirit told to Peter what to do.  He knew that those men were looking for him by Holy Spirit.  Holy Spirit told him, come down, those men are looking for you, go and share the message.

How did Agabus know that the apostle Paul will be in prison?  By the Holy Spirit.  He revealed the future things.  It wasn't yet but it was revealed through the prophet, Agabus, in the New Testament that the apostle Paul will be imprisoned.

Now, how did all other cities know that apostle Paul will be imprisoned?  Because apostle Paul says that Holy Spirit testifies in many cities that bones are awaiting me.  How did men of God in different cities know about apostle Paul?  They had live communication with God.  We read in Bible they had prophets who knew of the things to come.

How did apostles Paul and Barnabas know which cities to go?  Why they were forbidden to go into some cities?  Because Holy Spirit knew what was there; whether the people were ready or not ready.  Holy Spirit knew the real need and where the need was.

So you see, this is what God's people of today need.  So here as an example of this work of God and the fire of God, how God works with sincere people.

As we mentioned earlier, as never before in history, church of God needs that power of God, supernatural power of God, supernatural manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.  And how I pray to the Lord, that Lord will raise up faithful remnant who will decide to drop all their business and decide to drop all their cares of life, and they'll start tarrying, they'll start praying, they'll start weeping and crying, they'll learn to pray apostolic prayers, they learn to pray mighty prayers as the men of old prayed.  They will break through, through the darkness of the evil forces which are in the heavenlies, and they'll break through to the throne of God.  And God, by His divine power will send that mighty power of the Holy Spirit and fire upon the remnant which will then be empowered to do not only the evangelist work but will be empowered prophets of God who will know what to do in every and any circumstance.  Who will know what to do in the troublesome days to come.  And they will know from the throne of God Himself, what are the safer places to be so that God can have under Himself living remnant which will meet Him alive and well, face to face.

Because after the tribulation of those days, Christ said He will send an angel, then trumpet, then voice and all that, to gather His elect from all the four winds.  They will be people from all across the land, all across the earth who will be protected and saved and delivered and safely kept through the tribulation fires and will remain alive unto the coming of the Lord.

As we read in chapter 19 of Revelation verse seven, that the bride got herself ready and she's ready to enter into that marriage supper of the Lamb.  In verse 11 is the literal, physical, pronounced, demonstration of the coming of Christ Himself; as the lightening cometh and is seen from east to west so demonstratively, so openly, so brightly with power and glory, will be the coming of Christ for His elect, to gather them from the four winds.

And so we see the coming of Christ is right there after tribulation in chapter 19.  Verse 11 is starting the description of the coming of Christ as He comes with His mighty warriors, with hosts of angels which He spoke about in chapter 24.  That He comes with a mighty host and with mighty power.

As never before is the need of the church that people of God really pray and seek.  God is not a respecter of Baptists or Lutherans or whoever else.  So if people of God will really start praying and desiring the Will of God and fulfill His commandment, and that commandment is for the last days that we should watch and pray always, and THEN we will enter into the promise.

So just to give an example how Lord deals in spite of peoples efforts, or in spite of preaching or without the preaching, how God can do His work.

This is about a 16 year old girl which brethren gave me a tape on from Russia.  That girl was known right throughout Russia.  She belonged to a group like many other groups which had sprung up in Russia.  They were known all across Russia by many, many thousands of Christians.  Anyhow this girl was named Lipa.  She was a simple, uneducated girl from the Baptist background, and they were living close by a little city, little village of Kuriachie.

That little group of Baptists they were very discouraged and they were very concerned why nothing was happening.  Why the Lord's work was not progressing.  Why such a coldness in the church, and why is it that nobody comes to the Lord and God is not doing anything.  They were very discouraged.

They decided as a little group to pray that God will do His work among them and revive their church as such and also bring people from outside that they will get converted.  So they were praying and during this time when they started to pray, it happened.

This girl was a child of believers!  She was 16 at that time and she was very busy child, but all of a sudden she met one officer from the Red Army.  He was a very handsome man and so she was kind of seduced by him and she wanted to marry him.  Her parents said, "No!  We cannot approve that marriage because this marriage of believers and unbelievers is not possible so we do not approve, we do not give you the blessing."

But in spite their rejection and refusal to bless her, she went away to another city with this man, she just got married to him and that man took her away to the one particular army unit where they were stationed on the border of town.  So that girl, she was enjoying the parties and all those things, and she enjoyed the dresses because the money was unlimited.  Officers were living very richly and they had the drinking parties and they danced and bowled and all those different things.  And she was really swung fully into that life of worldliness.  She forgot all about God and everything, because her husband was atheist, he was communist, he was in army.

To make a long story short the little group was praying for revival.  Whom do you think God shows to bring that revival to that particular group, and to that particular area?  He showed this little 16 year old girl who wasn't even mature enough to do anything or know about God because she has only grade 3 when she dropped out of school, and she didn't want to proceed any further and stuff.  So she was not very educated.

But anyhow she was living worldly life and now while she was walking during daytime, while she was walking on the street of that city on the border of town, this girl all of sudden heard a voice from heaven.  And that voice told her to go to such and such street and you'll find such and such house and in that house there are my children.  And you will go to them and they will show you the way.

And she refused that.  She found it strange to hear the voice.  I do not know how this would be if anybody from any modern churches or from Anabaptist church for that matter, if they heard voice from heaven to go such and such place or such and such street.  I wonder what they would do, I am not sure.  Now, that'll be up to you what you would do.  But she refused because she did not want anything to do with religion or God or whatever because she was enjoying her life to fullest extent.  So then the next day she was walking again to the store or something and on the street, she hears that voice again.  Go to such and such street.  And so finally, I believe it was a third time, that she got fearful because that voice was very stern this time and that she must go.  And so she did.

When she entered in the house most of them were elderly people, and they were very simple people, very poor, very downtrodden, very persecuted Christians who believed in the baptism of the Holy Ghost and in revelations and in prophecy and in divine gifts of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit.

So anyhow, when she came to them they got talking, and they got testifying to her and eventually, slowly, she was drawn by the Lord into His truth, and they told her that there is a living God.  That God who is alive and well today, a God who can hear prayers, a God who can talk today.  The God who baptizes with the Holy Spirit, and God who gives the spirit of prophecy.  That spirit of prophecy that can be used by God to communicate with you, tell you, instruct you, exhort you, rebuke you, and if need be, to tell you of the things to come.

She got hungry for the Word of God - she never heard that before because in Baptist circles you never get that preaching because they'll chase you out!  You try that out in any Baptist church in America - go and tell them about you know that there is a Living God today who is baptizing with the Holy Spirit and He gives you the manifestation of the Holy Spirit and gift of prophecy and other gifts and He can talk to you personally, and He can edify you, can instruct you, and He can tell you of the things to come - they'll chase you out!  They might call police on you.  You just try it out to see how it works.

So anyhow, she never heard that, and she got not only curious, but she got hungry for the real truth, for the real Word of God.  Then one day she decided to go on the edge of town where there was a lonely barn, like neglected barn of someone.  So she went to that barn and not very far from that barn there was the army unit where the barracks were.

She got so thirsty for the rivers of living water about which Christ prophesied and said that whosoever thirsty, come to me and drink.  He spoke of the living waters and those living waters shall become living waters flowing through your life.  And they shall run from your belly, from inside.  That means they have to be inside first before they have to run out.

So anyhow, she got thirsty and she was started to pray and she started to confess, Lord I'm a sinner, Lord and forgive me, and she really went through a real repentance up there in that barn and she was praying very quietly at first.

After she repented thoroughly, she asked, Lord, if it's your will, and you can forgive me and baptize me with the Holy Spirit, me a sinner, if you can baptize me Lord, I desire for your living water, Lord baptize me with the Holy Ghost as you did apostles.  Lord give me a real experience!  Then, she started to get louder, and louder.  People started to get gathering around the neighbors, and then before you know it the army unit people came from barracks because they heard that noise, someone is crying very loud there.

She was crying, in tears you know, and before you know, she saw a vision.  Fiery tongues were coming down upon her and God spoke to her from heaven saying that she shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost and given several gifts.  God would lead her and she would be His child and He would bless her.  Then she was baptized with the Holy Ghost and there was such a joy, that she felt as fire went through her and she was beyond herself with joy.

Heavenly joy which can only be experienced by the man who really tastes the Lord and sees how good He is.  And that can only be experienced individually.

Her husband was away that time, but anyway everybody was amazed and there was tongues and they were really puzzled.  Some people were puzzled, some people were mocking and laughing.  She was praying for quite a few hours there, in the power of the Holy Spirit.  And then when the night has come, and her husband said, "What is this about this baptism of the Holy Spirit that the men at work told me about?  What is this foolishness of Christ and religion and Holy Spirit?"  And she told him exactly how she experienced it and he did not believe her because he was atheist, he said well that's nothing to do.

The next day when they went to common eating grounds, to the kitchen where everybody ate with the officer, their wives, or the single ones, and then in that cafeteria God has filled this soul with Holy Spirit again.  As our Bible says, refilled.  God refilled her with the Holy Spirit and then she prophesied to one of the Georgian men who spoke a completely different language.  He, of course, knew Russian, but his language was completely Georgian, completely different from Russian.

She spoke to him in perfect Georgian language.  Holy Spirit revealed all his sin and rebuked him and God called, through this girl, that Georgian man to repentance.  And that Georgian man stopped eating, he got pale, he got scarred, and he run away from the kitchen because he couldn't take it anymore and then later on he asked that girl's husband, "How, in what school did she learn such a perfect Georgian language?"

And he said, "Well!  My wife, she's illiterate.  She has grade three.  She can hardly express herself in her own language, literally."  A big commotion was in the army there, and they put pressure upon this officer and officer put a pressure upon her and he said, "Either you stop this foolishness and this God business and this praying business and stuff like that or I will leave you."

She took all her gold and silver from her at the time of repentance, and when the Holy Spirit baptized her, she tore all her ornaments, all her earrings, all her rings from her hands, and the paint was running down with her tears and everything.  And so next day she could not be recognized.  She was not painted anymore, and she covered her head with a covering, with a veil.  With a real veil, not with a little whatever, but with a real veil she covered her head and she changed her garments to total modesty.  Her dress covered all her legs, right to the shoes.

Before that she was very sexy, very fashionable, and she loved all those fashions and stuff.  Back then she had lots of money from her husband.  So husband said,"  Well!  You are fanatic.  I don't want to live with you like that."  Finally after arguing with her she said, "I cannot help it.  Jesus Christ has promised this.  The Holy Spirit has come into me and I have a heavenly joy.  And I enjoy praying in the Holy Spirit.  I love my Lord Jesus Christ and I want to live for Him now."

To make a long story short he told her, "  Either it's Christ and Holy Spirit or me.  You have to choose."  The end result was as this officer said.  The choice between Christ and Holy Spirit and him.

And she said, "I will not reject my Lord and Jesus Christ.  I'll serve Him."  And so he kicked her out.

At this time she was really pregnant and so she had to go home.  She was at that time, close by 17 or so, she was just a young girl.  And while she went home and that was a little ways away.  At the same time, the little Baptist group, in their small village, a very backward village, they were praying for revival, and they were praying for God to visit them and to get this deadness out of their church and get people saved and all those things.

While they were praying, they were of course praying for quite a few hours at night, one sister, who had an unbeliever husband, her name was Mary, she had to go home by about 10 o'clock.  To go home she had to go about seven, eight kilometers on foot and she did not want to be too late so her husband will not persecute her.  Her husband allowed her to attend prayer meetings.

Anyhow she went home, and she got there about just after 11 or so and she went to sleep.  In a dream, God showed her many, many different denominations going through and marching in front, and there is a name on their front.  Then it marches through and marches through, and God said unto her, I'm going to show you my people who have the Holy Ghost in them and you going to see the difference.

She was very puzzled as she was watching the different denominations coming through and marching along in front of her and she did not understand what it meant.  This is going on, what is this?  And the voice from heaven in the dream, was instructing her, explaining her things there.

It is a very long story, but just to make long story short, all of a sudden she sees another group of people she did not see before and she saw them marching bravely and there was a fire around them.  And as they were marching the fire was coming out from their feet, and they had fire in them.  And to her surprise, she saw this young girl Lipa.  Her name was Lipa, marching as one of them.  And she was wondering, she asked Lord, "What is this Lipa doing here?"  And Lord said, "Lipa now has Holy Ghost in her, and her name is not Lipa but her name is Anna now."  God said that from now on, the voice from heaven, while she was praying after the repentance, before the baptism of the Holy Spirit, God said to her that her name will be Anna, the spiritual name.

And that's why like all the men of God, all the prophets of God, they had names given to them, all the real men of God who talked with God, and with whom God talked, that God changed their names.  And so that was a regular practice during the revival in Russia that God has given, by the Holy Spirit, the spiritual names to God's people.

The simple farmers like in Russia, and in China, people had spiritual names, given by the Holy Ghost and that's why Christ Himself says in Revelations, in first three chapters you read about the churches there.  He says I'll give him a new name whom nobody knows but the one who receiveth. (Revelation 3 verse 12 Paraphrased)

There are many things that Christ said He will give but one of the things the people of God, those who overcome, real overcomers, the bride of Christ, Christ said that He will give them a new name, which nobody knows but the one who receiveth.

So then, this Lipa was renamed to spiritual name Anna.  And so then God said to this Mary, in the dream, God explains to her, that this is not Lipa anymore, this is Anna that's her name now because I have given her a new name and she has Holy Ghost in her now.

Voice spoke to that Mary, because she was part of the prayer group.  She was one of those hungry souls who was thirsty for God, and they were praying very earnestly that God would visit them.  So you see, as we finish this story, that God is not a respecter of persons or groups or names or denominations.  God loves them all, and God wants to bless everybody with His promises, with His divine visitations.

So when she woke up from this, she was all shaking with fear and she was puzzled.  Now, how come we've been for so many years in this denomination and we still do not have Holy Spirit in us, how come?  She was very puzzled.  She ran to her prayer group people, because it was already late, after twelve that was.  She crept out very quietly that husband not wake up, and she prayed all her way that her husband will be sound asleep that God will give him a sleep that he would not wake up and look for his wife and then start to persecute her that she will be departing in the middle of the night, after midnight.

And she was running with all her strength, all those seven, eight kilometers, back to the prayer group.  When she entered that prayer room of the parents of Lipa, when she entered in there, and to her amazement, she saw this girl Lipa starting to testify what Lord has done with her.  And then she cried out, "Anna!"

And this Lipa said, "How did you know that my name, spiritual name is Anna?  Only God told me, I didn't even have a chance to tell my parents or this people who are gathered here as a group because they were still kind of in prayer."

They still stayed together that little group of prayer warriors.  So they were real, sincere, hungry Baptist people, so God is no respecter of persons.  And so when Lipa testified how Lord gave her repentance, how she heard voice of God on the street several times, and how she was sent to such and such street, to such and such house to meet God's children.

She related all that, and then how she repented, how God gave the real broken repentance of all her sin and all her love of the world, and all the fleshly lusts and everything, and how God miraculously, gloriously, baptized her with the Holy Ghost, and how God spoke to her because God comforted her with the Holy Spirit through the spirit of prophecy.

Then she related that instance about Georgian man who was rebuked by the Holy Spirit in perfect Georgian language, and as you read Acts chapter two then they were not Georgians around in chapter two, but there were many others who understood.  That's what I call the real genuine work of God.  That's what I call the real manifestation of the God, and that's the kind of real thing that our people in Russia experienced when the Jews heard their language by the Holy Spirit through uneducated farmers in Russia.  They got converted and some other nations heard their own language by the Holy Ghost and that is why I'm sharing with you the real, Biblical experiences with the real spirit of prophecy, with the real gift of prophecy that God can bestow upon God's people.

That's why apostle Paul said to strive for spiritual gifts but especially that you may prophesy because that is more perfect gift, more desired gift.  Moses said he wished that all people of God were prophets, because then God could talk to them directly.  God could manage them, God could lead them, God could guide them, and they will be obedient vessels even though there is still an element of human will it is possible to disobey as we shared before how a couple of families in China disobeyed and they suffered greatly.

But anyhow, in majority of the cases when the Holy Spirit is upon you then its a real experience that men of God can be led by the Holy Spirit and be told how to do God's work, where to go, what to do and how to be usable.

The result of this experience, was without even preachers.  God never sent anybody there.  And God's revival broke out that night.  There's a testimony on tape.  On that night, if I remember correct, around ten people were baptized gloriously in the Holy Ghost, in Bible-type Holy Ghost baptism, with the signs following.

God raised a new church right there and then they got on fire for the Lord and before you know it that church started to grow and surrounding people, the unbelievers, came to the Lord because they have seen that God was with them.

People in apostolic days could not help but see that God was with the apostles because there was fire of God, that divine gasoline.  That fire was ignited, there was not only water - they had water too, sure, they had water baptism - but that's not all.  That's not all that Christianity is about.

Christianity is not just to have Bible and give a guarantee, and give the assent, and try to live by this or that commandment, that's not all.  That's to have car manual - that's not all.  The thing is, it's not enough to have manual, the thing is it's not enough to have radiator with water, thing is it's not enough to have all the wires intact and engine even intact.  But the climatic point of Christian experience which Christ promised is how His work will be carried in this earth by the power of the Holy Spirit.

It has to be an external power, it has to be that divine gasoline, it has to be ignited by God Himself in order that car would go and do the job of taking people to whatever places or a truck taking a load and doing some useful work.  Truck can only go when there is fire in the engine which is external, and outside of engine, outside of radiator - it's nothing to do with the radiator, it's external element, it has to be in the engine - a fire in the engine.  So this is more or less maybe a very crude, very rough comparison but this is what people have experienced.

And so great revival broke out and one thing is very interesting that brethren, many brethren whom I have visited in Germany, and some people in America, many of them testify to me that they were the product of the revival in 1952-56-57 in Russia, and they were from former Lutheran, from former Baptist, from former seven-day Adventist.  They told their personal stories, many of them how God, without preachers, and in some cases with preachers, how Lord brought this revival of the Holy Spirit baptism among Lutheran churches and in quite a few areas.

The complete churches of Lutheran came to the knowledge of this power of the Holy Ghost and came to the guiding power of the Holy Spirit with the signs following, with the miracles taking place as described in the book of Acts, and as described in chapter 12 of I Corinthians, and chapter 14 of I Corinthians, and many other chapters.

There were complete Baptist congregations who were taken over by the power of the Holy Ghost - sometimes with preachers, sometimes without preachers, as in the case of this girl.  God used this insignificant, poor, uneducated girl, who was thirsty enough to thirst for God, for His Holy Spirit.  But she first had to hear the Word of God, because faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.  So then she could not have had faith for the Holy Spirit baptism because her parents never preached it, because her parents had never been preached to themselves.  Even though they had the Bible they never had the real exposure to it.  They never had the faith for it.

Then this girl had been shared to by simple folks in the village where she stayed with her husband, they shared with her the simple truth and simple obedience, simple faith in Christ, and His promises.  And so she was the instrument in that revival, in that region of city of Taganrog.

It was a big church developed in that city of Taganrog which been known in surrounding areas.  But of course there was great persecution, much mocking from the official regular Baptist groups.  And those groups of Baptists who came into that revival and Lutheran and Seventh-day Adventists whom God baptized with the Holy Spirit with signs following and with some miracles taking place.  Those became under severe attacks of their own, from their own denomination, from others who did not enter in, those who did not want to receive, those who did not want to taste the Lord and see how good He is.

So they were exposed not only to the government persecution but also to the persecution from their own denomination.  So the Bible has to repeat itself, all the prophets, starting from Moses, they were persecuted, they were fought against because the Holy Spirit was in them.  All the prophets like Isaiah, Jeremiah, any of them, they were persecuted, they were mocked, they were laughed at, they were beaten and they were really harassed.  And no wonder prophet Jeremiah said he didn't want any more to speak the Word of the Lord - he didn't want to prophesy anymore because he was always reproached every day.  He was in derision every day, he got tired over the years of being mocked and laughed at and called and told you are not of God, you do not prophesy from God and stuff like that.

So here we see that this same lot met these people and we have experienced that in China.  There is nothing different there and wherever we testify in this country of America and Canada, wherever we go, some people accept the Word of God, the pure unadulterated Word of God without mixture of lie or without any conceit or deceit.  But majority reject, laugh and mock, and persecution arises.  Here we thank the Lord for that and we praise for those and say, Lord forgive them, they do not know what they are doing.

This then is an example of God's fire that we are talking about, and about the fire that Christ spoke about that He came down to bring the fire on this earth and He was desiring so much that this fire was a flame.  And praise God the time has come that this fire became a flame during the apostolic days, and from then on the church of God, even being in persecution but each was marching triumphantly under the guidance of the Holy Spirit with the signs following because Christ said those who shall believe in my name the signs will follow.  That is Christ's words Himself and it is not mine, is nobody else, and I have no choice but either to believe it or leave it alone.

There are two choices - either to believe it or mock it, laugh at it, and say this is from the devil, all those signs of miracles and wonders and healings and whatever else.  But there are nine gifts promised for the church.  God says some prophets, some apostles, some He gave this gift, some He gave that gift, in the church He said.  So if His church is still around, if His apostolic church is still around, then that's what is being practiced in that church and my prayers to the Lord is, Lord raise more of those churches, Lord raise more of those groups Lord, and bring them to the complete knowledge, the perfect knowledge of your promises and your power which you have promised, to all those who believe for all those afar off whom God shall call.  Acts chapter 2, verses 38 and 39, you read that.

That's the promise.  Apostle Peter said that's a promise.  So Christ was promising and that promise has to come to pass in apostolic life and also in all the other Gentiles, way back right down into Acts chapter 19 in the Ephesians in Ephesus.

If you remember that the apostles had gone there and they asked "Have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed?"  They were real Baptists!  They were real Baptists - they had the baptism of the water, they were baptized by John's disciples or whoever, they had that radiator with water.  And they said, "Well!  Excuse us we didn't even know there is such a thing as Holy Spirit."

And there are many people of God, very sincere people of God across America and the land, as we travel, and across Canada and many other lands.  People are sincere, they are very hungry people, but they never even knew there is such a thing as Holy Ghost available today in same shape and form as apostles have experienced it with the signs following.

So therefore, they said they never knew.  So apostles then, having a gift of miracles, they laid their hands upon them and they received the Holy Ghost.  And they had the manifestations of the Holy Spirit, which Christ promised and which was promised by Joel the prophet in last days, God will pour a Holy Spirit upon all flesh whosoever desired, on servants, on bondslaves, and on all those.  God will pour out Holy Spirit upon all flesh and they shall have spiritual manifestations, read Joel, chapter 2 and chapter 3.

So you see, this is the fulfillment of the age old plan of God to have people of God, His bride right through the centuries, right through the ages.  It's always a little flock, it's always a remnant.  It's not a majority.  And Christ knew this is how it would be because He said narrow is the way leading to eternal life and very few who find it, but broad is the way to destruction, and many people are going along that broad way.

So this is way of godliness, this is way of righteousness, this is way of repentance, this is way of holiness.  This is way of God's judgment, this is way of Holy Spirit, this is way of manifestation of the Holy Spirit, this is way of being guided by the Holy Spirit.  This is way of dying to your will but you are totally under the Will of God - you just only do what God tells you to do, you go where God tells you to go, and you just don't go anyplace where God didn't tell you to go - this is very limited way, this is very narrow way.

And you see like if we were in Philip's day and Philip was having mighty revival in Samaria, and many people came to the Lord, and you know that was wonderful.  And all of a sudden God says drop the whole revival, drop all this program, just go to the road which is empty.

How many preachers in America would believe that today if God told them that?  Just drop revival, just right in the middle, drop it right now and go.  How many people would believe?

Philip believed because he was man led by the Holy Spirit, he was a prophet also.  And he had four daughters who were prophetesses.  Yes!  God can use ladies also to prophesy.  Yes!  Bible is full of that in Old Testament and in New.  Yes!  The ladies can be used to prophesy, to prophesy message of exhortation, message of instruction, message of rebuke, and message of things to come.  God can reveal divine things of God by the Holy Spirit through ladies also.

Yes!  Philip was a prophet and so we read that when he was walking up the road there was a chariot coming, and we read that Holy Spirit told him, in my Bible it says Holy Spirit told him, get into that chariot.  Now, how many obedient, Holy Spirit led, preachers are there in America today or in Canada who are so intimately tuned with God and so full of Holy Ghost that they hear the commandment, the prophecy of God go into that chariot?

And he did and the work was done.  And my Bible says that when they came out from water - they went into water, they baptized in water, and came out from water - my Bible says angel took Philip away and the Holy Spirit fell upon eunuch.  My Bible says the Holy Spirit fell upon eunuch and he went home rejoicing.  And then through that eunuch, Christianity was established in Ethiopia and it was a cradle of Christianity for a couple of centuries there.  It was through that eunuch.

So it doesn't need many men.  It needs just one man full of Holy Ghost to go on with the work.  And then from that one little fire, the big fire got started, like for this one little girl.  Now, it wasn't much, she was just simple Baptist girl, backslidden - backslidden, sinful, Baptist girl.  But God saw fit to use her to revive the whole group of Baptists, they were all baptized with the Holy Ghost eventually because they organized the prayer groups and they were tarrying for the Holy Ghost, and God baptized them all.  The complete group was baptized with the Holy Ghost and then the revival started in the surrounding areas.

So this, brethren, is what I wanted to share with you, dear people of God, Anabaptist.  I did not bring to you anything from myself, from my imagination, but everything I said I supported with the Word of God because it's there.

If anybody dares to take away the Holy Spirit, words of Holy Spirit, and the work of the Holy Spirit from the Bible from Old and New Testament, you will have less than half of the Bible left.  It will be just simple, dead book.  But with the Holy Spirit work and His words and His deeds, that Bible is a living, vibrant, holy, inspired Word of God.  Full of the deeds and works of the mighty powers of the Holy Spirit, which were, which are, and which will be available for all those who thirst for that living water which Christ said it shall become living water in his belly and out of his belly the living water shall flow.  So then, we are going to come to the close, and here then we see this, what awaits the Anabaptists in the last days.

Brethren, we discussed about last days briefly.  That which comes upon the whole world and the judgments of God.  The cleansing judgments of God will come upon the whole world and every church will not escape, everyone will be touched upon.  Everyone shall be tried because in Revelations it says to try all those who are living on face of the earth.  Everyone shall be tried with fire of persecution, with fire of trials and testing.  That will be the final filter, the final filter of God in this earth to sift and to separate the wheat from the chaff.

And so here, as never before in history, the real hungry people of God, the thirsty people of God, the real sincere people of God who want to please and go all the way with God, who want to believe the authority of the Bible, who claim they acknowledge the authority of the Bible, they need as never before, to start what apostles started and that is prayers.

When Christ said, don't run around, don't go and start evangelistic campaign or go here and there, don't start around preaching, no, stay put in Jerusalem until ye shall be endowed with power from on high, until ye be baptized with the Holy Ghost, only then shall ye go and be my witnesses.

That is if anybody, and everybody whosoever wants to do the real work of God, with real God's tools, not with man's imagination, with man's programs, or with man-made revivals, but real God's revivals, they have to stay put.  They have to stay and tarry and wait for the Holy Ghost.  Pray through, through this cloud of darkness of the evil forces, that God will send His power from on high and then empower them, if need be, to do His work of evangelistic effort and as well as to guide them and to lead them in whatever areas of life He will sees fit.

The apostles did in accordance with the commandments of Christ and He said in Luke chapter 11 verse 13, "If ye then being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him."

So with apostolic experience, with apostolic church, that was the case.  They had to stay and pray, and we read that they were staying there in one accord praying for that promise of Christ.

Of course when they prayed and when they had been baptized with the Holy Ghost, then they received the gifts of the Holy Spirit and gifts of miracles.  We see the examples that when apostles laid their hands upon other people they did not have to tarry much.  They received the gift of Holy Spirit by the laying of hands.  That's the gift of miracles working through apostles.

Initially it was always the case of people of God praying like in the case of the girl, she had to pray.  With all the revivals we have seen, our people have seen in Russia, people tarried, people prayed and then the Holy Ghost came according to their faith, according to their prayer, according to their repentance and all that.

All those young people's revivals that I have visited in China, people had to tarry and pray, and as I mentioned there were prayer meetings nightly in China, for different reasons, for different needs.  But there was specific prayer meetings organized by the older brethren as they called the revival, Holy Ghost meetings, where they would pray for Holy Ghost, for baptism of the Holy Ghost.

And so it was a rule in apostolic days that everyone who came to the Lord, they were baptized with the Holy Ghost.  That was no exception in Russia - everyone in the church was baptized with the Holy Ghost.  God even baptized little infants.

Once in the history of China, God baptized a little infant which was laying in a cradle while the men prayed and the young people prayed, and He baptized that little infant of a couple months old who did not speak yet, who was infant yet, laying in the cradle with his hands tied.  That little infant, being baptized with the Holy Ghost spoke a perfect prophecy in the Russian language with his little voice, but he gave distinct, clear message, specific message for the people of God.

Everybody wept for joy because that was unheard of, but God is not a respecter of persons, God is not limited.  God cannot be put into a mold or a pattern, so even babies like that, God baptized with the Holy Spirit.

There were several families, as we shared, who broke away from those mocking Baptists in China and who joined prayer groups of Evangelical Christians who believed in the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and guidance of the Holy Ghost, and God baptized them and their children of age ten, they were baptized with the Holy Spirit.

When the hard time came in China this brother testified, (and he's still alive today in this free world) that they had such a difficult situation that nobody could solve, nobody could help from man.  They prayed to the Lord and for Lord's advice, and our people practiced inquiring of the Lord in many situations, many needs, in many circumstances.  People of the Lord as in days of old, they inquired of the Lord for the Will of God.  David inquired many times and many others inquired of the Lord.

This particular family they said, we will call our little boy of ten, he's playing there in the yard.  He was baptized with the Holy Spirit before they were!  And because he had a childlike faith, and he was very fervent in prayers, and God baptized him within a few days, where as sometimes it takes adults who pray through and repent and really forsake self and that pride and all the theology and all the blown up head and all the understanding, it takes little while for someone to get empty totally before the Lord, before God can baptize them.

So this boy got the baptism of the Holy Spirit very quickly and God gave him a spirit of prophecy.  God gave the gift of prophecy.  They called in this young boy of ten into the room, and said, "Michael let us pray, we have a need before the Lord."  And they started crying and praying and God refilled this Michael with the Holy Ghost and then the perfect answer, unknown to this Michael, unknown to him, perfect answer comes to meet the needs of this parents, who had many times been answered by the Lord through this little prophet, Michael, who was just a carefree child.

But he loved to pray, this Michael loved prayers.  At every prayers when the parents were, upon wherever the prayer meetings of young people, he was always there.  He was real young man of prayer.

Therefore, brethren, God is not a respecter of ages or persons, but He honors that living faith, He honors that simple faith, childlike faith who want to believe on God's promises, who wants to believe on God's Word, who wants to believe on Christ's promises.

So therefore brethren, the way I see what awaits Anabaptists in last days, either Anabaptists will start dropping their businesses and dropping their activities, extracurricular activities and all those busy, busy, busy things that they do and they organize prayer meetings at homes, or if need be in church, all over the place.

If they organize those prayer meetings, and they will pray to the Lord and to ask the Lord to empty them of all their understanding, of all their theology, and all of whatever they been told, and they simply start reading Bible afresh and simply believe the Word of God, as it is written without twisting it, without explaining it away, by simply accepting it, it will not take long time before Lord will clear all those minds and Lord will empty those dear souls, and Lord will start baptizing the Anabaptist people, the pastors, the ministers, the evangelists, the young people, the sisters.

Lord will start baptizing with the Holy Ghost, Bible-type baptism like in apostolic days.  They will enter into the real experience, the living and genuine experience of apostolic church, with the signs following, and God will raise up prophets among them.  That will be the one outcome, and then of course God, through these prophets which God will raise up among Anabaptists, God will lead them, not only into evangelistic efforts and evangelistic crusades, but God will also in days to come, in the very trying days to come, God will tell them in advance what is coming and what's to be done.

God will surely will move them to safer ground.  Because this is a promise of God, this is the unchangeable law of God and His promise in the days of old which God promised that if you read Ezekiel, chapter 14, verses 18 to 22.

Paraphrased it reads something like this.  God says, If there will be three men, Noah, David, and Job, in the land and those were the men of God, they were prophets, God spoke to them, and they spoke to God, they communicated with God.  So then, God says if any land will sin and gets corrupted and all that, God decides to judge that land with the fire, with sword, with the beast, and with pestilence.  By the way, that's exactly those four plagues that God is going to use in Revelation during tribulation.  The fire, the sword, the famine, the pestilence, and the beast - exactly four plagues mentioned there in Revelation which are going to be the judgments of God allowed upon this whole earth.

So God said, if those three men will be there, they'll definitely be led out, in my Bible it says, they'll definitely be led out and delivered and they'll save their souls.  They'll be delivered from the destruction, even though all the other people will be destroyed.  So, God says, that God, in last days will have a remnant, which will be led out definitely form the midst of destruction, they will be definitely led out.  My Bible says, you shall see their behavior, their conduct, and their good deeds.  That means you will see their righteous life.

And they'll be the people of God who are warned by God, people who knew what to do, people of God, the remnant, who heard the voice of God.  People who would know where to go and what to do in the drastic, drastic calamities.  In drastic judgments of God which will be falling upon the places from nation to nation as we read in the several portions of Scripture but there is many more about last days.

So, this will be one choice for the Anabaptist people, to start prayer groups, to have a real Bible-type revival.  That's one choice.  And God can raise, very, very holy, very righteous prophets of God among them.  And then other choice is to forsake this message, to mock it, to say this message is from the devil, this is just foolishness and God will not judge us, God will rapture us before the tribulation.

We will not be judged, we will not see judgment of God and everything will be fine.  We'll just fly away from our expensive cars, from our hundred thousand, two hundred thousand dollar homes.  From our many garments and from our beautiful, very plentiful life, and life of plenty, and we'll just fly away.

That is second choice, just to ignore the message, to mock it, to laugh at it and say this message is from the devil, it's not of God, and just to wipe it away, wash it away, and ignore it.  Just carry on until Christ's Word will be fulfilled that those who will be taken off by the cares of life.  That day shall come as a snare upon all those who dwell on the face of the earth.  And that shall cover all the churches, all the preachers, all the pastors, all the flock will be covered.

We read in Bible, that there are many more scriptures which say that this will take place, and there'll be great surprise, nearly all will be surprised, and very sorry surprised.  Yes!  God has warned America by America's prophets.  There were not many, but I came across just a few.  I have some of their warnings in my possession.  But those warnings are not popular, those warnings are not accepted by millions because everybody believes in modern churches which I went through talking about.

The modern, fanciful, worldly churches, they believe that they'll be raptured away, right from beaches, semi-naked.  Right from restaurants drinking beer, and right from those harloty places, right from the fooling around.  Running around and boyfriend/girlfriend business.  They'll be raptured away because they are God's people they claim.

So, I do not judge them but I'm saying there are two choices for Anabaptists.  And those two things can await Anabaptists in last days.  Those two things can happen to Anabaptists depending which route, which direction they will take.  So therefore, as the last little notice of caution I should clarify very plainly about this.

This question of Holy Spirit baptism and fire, because we read that from Bible.  But how is it practiced in literal experience, that is, how the real prophet of God is manifesting.  How does word come about, the real word of prophecy, how does it come about?

I just share that a little bit from the experience of our people.  How it comes?  In many cases when our people were baptized with the Holy Spirit, sometimes there were visions given to some of these people on the knees praying in prayer groups that they saw this fire coming down from heaven.  Occasionally they saw a dove coming down upon those to be baptized very soon, then very shortly the people were baptized.  Also, there were sensations, literal sensations of fire enveloping a person and going through the whole being.  With some it was to a stronger degree, with some to a lesser degree, with some just little bit, but in any case it was always a sensation like we read in Jeremiah.

He had sensation, literal sensation that fire was burning inside him, it was a literal fire because God says that Christ will be baptizing with Holy Spirit and fire.  So it had to be recognized somehow.  So it was God's will, God's choice, it's not our choice how it is manifested.  Apostles had been manifested fire in chapter two and so with our people it was same thing.

Now, the sure sign of the real prophet of God is when the real word of prophecy comes.  It's not of him.  When he gets refilled with the Holy Spirit the power comes upon him, he feels it, he knows it, then he prays in the Spirit, and then the message comes, then he does not know the message.  It's not in his mind, it's not in his will at all.  Every next word that comes out from his lips, it is not known because it's totally from the Spirit of God.

So I have to caution you, when there are many prophets in Bible mentioned that they were prophesying from imagination of their hearts, from their thoughts.  Yes!  Those are the false prophets because if the people claim their prophets and they if they know what the message is and what they prophesying and what the next word is to say, they know already, that's the surest sign that they are false prophets because you read about that in Bible very clearly, they are prophesying from imagination.

So the real prophet of God does not know the next word which it comes because it's a mystery, it's Holy Spirit mystery.  So then another surest sign of the real prophet that when he speaks his words comes to pass.  That's a real surest sign of the real prophet of God.  So there it is, and also the real prophet of God they are always holy prophet, they are all holy life, very dedicated men of God, very dedicated, as we read in Bible.  They were holy men who prophesied being moved by the Holy Ghost.  They prophesied and all the Scripture were given inspired by the Holy Spirit through them, through the holy prophets.

But there were the false prophets, they got drunk, they committed adultery, they run around with all the corrupt system, and they were prophets also.  But that's a different subject.  So therefore, I would like to share and make a distinction there.

So therefore, may Lord help us and bring revival, real Bible-type revival in America, in many groups of Anabaptists, that they'll go back to the fiery faith of their forefathers in sixteenth century who were filled with the Holy Ghost, with Bible-type results.  Some groups were led by the Holy Ghost and they had prophets, and so all along through the centuries, God had His men who were used by God to guide, to lead, to protect them.

Reading Hosea chapter 12 verses 10 and 13, God says that God led through holy prophets, He protected through prophets, and led the Israelites through prophets.  So this is the plan of God through the ages, and that is, to lead, to save, to do God's work, and also to protect, and to bring God's glory in the earth.

So may Lord bless us and help us to really search out the scriptures and then start those Bible prayers, mighty prayers.  Don't be afraid to pray the apostolic prayer of chapter four how they prayed with one accord.  LOUD!  Don't be afraid because you will find, that men of God, in congregation in the Old Testament, they prayed aloud, they prayed mightily, the mighty prayers, very fervent prayers were heard by God.

Nineveh cried.  During Esther times people cried in one accord.  In apostolic times they prayed with one accord.  So may God help us to start Bible prayers and you will get Bible-type results and Bible-type revival.

Lord bless you all.  Amen.
